I agree, but really thats irrelevant. I think that all dining options offer a poor price/value proposition on property at any resort (not just LV). Actually I will posit to you that the price/value proposition is more skewed at the casual end of the dining spectrum then at the higher price points. For example, a yogurt fruit cup at the food court in Harrahs is like $9-easily double what you will pay off property-Ruth's Chris on the other hand is priced in the same range(perhaps-10-15% higher) in Harrahs as you will find in their Dallas, Chicago, etc locations.
The point is still that which meal is better for $20 out of pocket-
a nice steak(60), au gratins(12), and desert or appetizer(15) with a glass of mid level wine(15), at Ruths Chris for example
