It's on either the TR website or the WSOP website. Your estimate sounds about right. Entering a $1500 bracelet event might get you 150 tc. It's so little I don't even think about it. After grinding a tournament or two I don't want to think about vp either.

I played in it this weekend. Because there is no 2/5, the 2/3 seems to be a refuge for 2/5 players. At least my table was. If you're not comfortable with your 2/5 game you might want to stick to Caesars. I hadn't played 2/5 in awhile but it's just a lot less work and variance to stick with 1/2 for me. I was only there for my Quest.

I've done the 15 hours at Caesars to get 500 tc. The bonus is pretty small though and it wasn't really worth playing in the wee hours. It would've been torturous if I hadn't run so well.

I don't get this-so you'd rather spend $20 on a $20 meal than a $100 meal, because why?

Local Diamonds, you may have received a parking hang tag allowing you to park in certain parking spaces on the west side of the Rio.

If you'll be attending the WSOP, please join me in asking the Rio/WSOP management to designate some parking spaces on the WSOP side for local Diamond hang tag holders.

What's the "west side"? The Masquerade Tower garage?

What's the "WSOP side"? The Ipanema garage?

Think the west side is the Parking closest to Gold Coast.

(-7500+12k)/2 = 2250 profit each
so he paid you 7500+2250= $9750?

The small parking lot (not the garage) immediately to the west of the Rio, near the buffet entrance, that has mostly handicapped spaces and local Diamond hang-tag spaces.

Again, not a garage: The self-parking lot directly outside (to the east of) the WSOP Pavilion and adjacent to the WSOP valet. What most people would describe as the WSOP self-parking lot.

East and west are terrible descriptions for people that visit only occasionally, aka the vast majority of people that read this forum, that don't know WTF you're referring to.

You're talking about reserving spaces in the CONVENTION CENTER parking lot? Like on that upper deck that holds about 60 cars? How would they decide who gets them? Considering that nobody except WSOP patrons park there in June, thousands would want a tag, and they would all go to tv pros.

No it was equal action on both plays. I can't remember the profit at the end but it wasn't much. Always nice to earn TCs and come out ahead.

honestly the meal is nice but overpriced.
i got diamond in january so had to use the meal before jan 31st and was by myself. i wouldn't have paid even 50 dollars for the meal i had which was good not great. it would have been a lot better if they gave me 2 50 dollar vouchers.

my next one i'll use with someone so at least i'll get more value out of it.but still most places charge double for what the food is worth anyway.

I agree, but really thats irrelevant. I think that all dining options offer a poor price/value proposition on property at any resort (not just LV). Actually I will posit to you that the price/value proposition is more skewed at the casual end of the dining spectrum then at the higher price points. For example, a yogurt fruit cup at the food court in Harrahs is like $9-easily double what you will pay off property-Ruth's Chris on the other hand is priced in the same range(perhaps-10-15% higher) in Harrahs as you will find in their Dallas, Chicago, etc locations.

The point is still that which meal is better for $20 out of pocket-

a nice steak(60), au gratins(12), and desert or appetizer(15) with a glass of mid level wine(15), at Ruths Chris for example

or:

burger and fries with a beer at Toby Keith's-

thats all I'm saying

Why not just use it for a time when you go out to eat somewhere casual with a bunch of other people? They'll usually pick up the tip for you if you treat.

That said, I forgot to use my $100 meal in 2016; or rather I figured I would be able to use it through 2017 just like my other Diamond benefits. Really dumb of me because I remember thinking I should pick up my voucher when I went to Giada in June, but just got lazy.

bc i got diamond in january so the dinner voucher expired jan 31st.

the one that is good until jan 31 2018 i'll use with a friend.

id happily take 50 cash for it though if that was an option.

don't get me wrong it's nice for free but not worth 100 bucks to most people.

We were going to use ours at the Paris Le Cafe (where you can get a good meal for two for about exactly $100 plus tip). Instead we ate at the Paris Buffet which was $60, and they threw in two pina coladas in souvenir Montgolfier Bros. collector ceramic balloon-shaped glasses. Anybody want two souvenir Montgolfier Bros. collector ceramic balloon-shaped glasses?

Worth about $20 to me.

About the only thing I would use it on is steak, and tbh, a $20 Outback steak is just as good to me.

But can you acknowledge that you are an imbecile? Everyone else in this thread is correct. Understand that you are the only person who is NOT interested in eating at a fine restaurant for 15-20 cents on the dollar while enjoying a stay in a 3+ star hotel

making Diamond Aspirations lvl 1 (40k tc) and lvl 2 (80k tc) no longer gets 5k bonus tc for next year (feb 2018).

I expect more nickel and diming of the benefits from Caesars new mgmt. that resulted from the bankruptcy settlement

To be fair, they only introduced this benefit last year. They tinker with their tier credit bonus every year it seems.

no. I've made Aspirations for the past 2 yrs.
and both years I got the 5k bonus tc.
now with mgm here and Horseshoe downgrades in VP/poker last year, I estimate I will barely make Diamond this year.

as for nickel and diming, caesars also slightly reduced the Atlantis benefit for 7stars.

WARNING- for those considering the FoundersCard. My membership does not expire until later this month however they will not renew my diamond status for these pre-paid few weeks.

I told them early Jan I will not be renewing my membership if the CET relationship was going to change/ do not automatically charge my card. Well, they graciously decided to cancel it for me since I metioned it was the main reason for applying for FC and I was not appreciative of all their other benefits that they worked "so tirelessly to obtain". Funny since they have seem to have had mostly the same benefits for the past two years and still seem to cater to anyone living in New York or LA. And good luck getting anyone in customer service to answer you within 24 hours or getting redepmtion codes emailed from their site.

Luckily the TR Visa seems to be giving everyone diamond status back just for using the credit card so if you were on the fence don't waste your money with Founders unless you will use some of the other services.

No question the downgrades at Horseshoe Baltimore last year were absolutely terrible for poker or VP players looking to build status with CET. Much worse than the pretty marginal year-to-year changes to the Diamond benefits. (You are right that the 5k tier bonus had been in place 2 years.)

But MGM doesn't count poker at all toward tier status or any benefit their national properties, so I don't really see how they can be a comparison.

I just received the same email/response and to them i said...well my FC membership ends in May, so if you are refusing to renew me until May for the only service i really use FC for, then are you giving me a 5 month pro-rated refund?

I actually was going to renew FC because i find it of value, but then the response i received was "okay, well reapply for diamond and it will be processed based on where you are in the queue".

Turns out my queue puts me at March. I wanted to book for Feb. This is a lousy deal. No idea what to do.

BTW, i think the TR visa only gives platinum.

Correct. Although, I'm not sure it's indefinite. I actively use my TR visa but on Feb 1 I dropped from Diamond to Gold not Platinum.
