I thought so too but if you look at that site that he listed, halfway down the page it says that for each $1 spent at any one of the participating outlets you receive one Tier Credit so yes this is definitely misleading, so I'm not sure which is true. I will say that one time at a restaurant I spent about $40 and did notice that I had 40 extra tier credits in my account than my wife did (we used my card and paid cash so maybe this is the case, I'm not sure!

Check the link posted above and click on the section of "earn tier credits" scroll down to "entertainment" and under the "dining" section it says
Earn 1 Tier credit for every $1 spent at participating restaurants. Then you can click the learn more link to see a list around the country (by region) of which restaurants participate. Not all restaurants do
So ... this seems right? Or am I crazy?
I'd much rather spend $50 to $100 on a decent meal than waste my time playing video poker or slots!
