it's not a big deal normally but can get annoying when the computer is slow or won't read the card and they have to enter the numbers manually.

Don't forget to match your Caesars Diamond to Wyndham Diamond before the end of the month so that you can match back in February!

It will instantly match from CET to Wyndham but not the other way around which will take two weeks after February 1 and only will match in that direction if the Wyndham status was earned. So there will be a minimum two week lag time without status until around February 14, 2024.

I rarely get booze, let alone $100 worth of anything. Unfortunately, Caesars’ bean counters are probably keeping track whether you get a $25 glass of wine, a $12 Starbucks, or a $6 juice with all of those drink vouchers, and declare you ‘over-comped’ if you hit $100 daily.

If you don’t care about getting cut off from other offers, then feel free to burn through 4 X $25 drinks daily. I’ll use mine every day I’m on the strip, and appreciate the value that Caesars offers, but I’m not trying to maximize the cost to them.

Also just because they charge 25 a drink doesn't mean it's worth 25 to them.

But it’s quite a nice perk when out to dinner or at pool when you really really want a few drinks and it’s certainly worth that amount to me

Running the card 4 times is mostly a hassle for the cashier. Mine always seem to go bad so good to keep one with a working strip.

Yeah I feel bad and I’m always getting new cards

But if that card is in same pocket as cell phone once there goes the card. So it happens fast

Wyndham Diamond has near useless perks at Wyndham hotels.
You're supposed to be upgraded to a suite if available.

Twice in 2023 (feb and Nov) I was at a Wyndham.
I checked before stepping through the door to make sure a suite was available.
Front desk said no suites available and gave me a slightly better room.

It gets even better.
For Nov 2023, this hotel had Club rooms. When i got shot down for a suite upgrade, they gave me a Club room.
It's only a slightly better room but it comes with the equivalent of a Caesars Diamond lounge.
ie: Free food and drinks in late afternoon

*BUT* because I was upgraded and didn't pay for the Club room, I'm not entitled to the Club lounge.

The discount room rates as Diamond that I get on Wyndham's site is more expensive than booking.com.

Lol Well, you can try and pay their cost for drinks at a restaurant. My guess is that they won’t let you and charge the $25.

Actually it’s more because everyone gets at least 13 months minimum

CET emailed me about a program I haven't seen before. If you're a new TR member, they will match a huge slough of various loyalty programs to Diamond. Almost any decent sized casino in Vegas, and lots of places around the country.

You shouldn’t be too hard on him. Most of his posts claim he is either getting free drinks at the moment, or on the way to getting free drinks. The fact that he can read any post at all is kind of impressive. He really seems to have earned his screen name.

This isnt true. I havent "earned" Wyndham status in 3 years of status matching back and forth every Jan/Feb.

It's hit or miss.
Although now it seems you can't tier match CZR to Wyndham online anymore.
