Before Covid, JJ’s actually had decent pizza. I don’t know if they are under new management, or maybe it’s just another one of those things which has changed for the worse in the last couple years. But their pizza is borderline inedible now.
And still $40 a pie. My lord they have no shame taking advantage of tourists.

To my knowledge, the only decent place to get pizza in that vicinity is Pin-Up Pizza at PH.

Giordano’s deep dish in the Grand Bazaar is fairly popular, but I have never been a big fan. For about $15 you get a small loaf of bread with a bit of cheese and tomatoes sauce.

Back in Oct was flipping a coin between Pin Up and another place (in the Bazaar but not Giordano's). Made a poor choice and did not pick Pin Up. Had a slice later in the week (to see for next visit) and it was by far better. Won't be back to the other place ever.

Giordano's is fine if you like Chicago style. DW was also eating but hates deep dish.

But the pizza in Paris was mediocre at best 10 years ago.

Those are the little bitty ones though.

Anyone here gotten diamond via sportsbetting online in their state with caesars and not in Nevada? I remember someone said you could do that but you had to risk/win a total of $75,000 a calendar year but now that number has changed? If so, what is it now?


So if you are a diamond member, I recall you get to go to the diamond line at check in at any caesars property so that is a perk right? The other thing I heard is you get access to the diamond lounge but what is that exactly? I heard you get free food there but what type of food is there? You can go there as many times as you want a day? That would seem to good to be true. Do you just go there to eat food and chat with others so to speak? So there aren't any waiters so you don't need to tip so it's like a big cafeteria sort of? Also I heard if you are diamond, you get 4 free drinks a day? That doesn't seem right but in a video El Diesel did, he mentions how he gets 4 drinks a day free because he is diamond and he gets water and gatorade. So you get that at the diamond or lounge or gift shop or where? Also these drinks are not like drink tickets like how you would have one and show it to the bartender for one and you give him/her a tip afterwards right? Seems insane you can get 4 drinks free a day just for diamond. So you can get that at any caesars property in the US assuming you are diamond?


The other big benefit is you get comped and discounted rooms right? I'm curious how many days on average you get comped a week. Also you don't pay that resort fee which is big.


Now if you play live poker in vegas, it would be easy to get diamond playing mostly at caesars properties and also betting sports in the caesars app right? Someone said if you play 2/5nl and on the days where they give a lot more tier credits, you can get there faster. So even 1/2nl and 1/3nl get more multiple tier credits? Do they do that at other caesars properties around the US as well with this? For someone that doesn't plan to play any table games and slots or any machines, getting diamond isn't that hard right if you bet a decent amount of sports and play some cards?


Also if you know another poker player or AP who is diamond, wouldn't it be possible to stay in the caesars properties for several months at least assuming you or the other person don't want to rent an apartment or condo? I can imagine this being appealing to the younger guys and not older guys but one person would book a comped stay for whatever amount of days, and the other person would do the same and for weekends well whoever it is booked under, well the room will still be discounted and you split the hotel fees. The other issue is you would have to check out and check in which is annoying but each stay booking would be at least a week or so which isn't that bad? I got to assume there are some AP players doing something like this right or back then though it obviously isn't appealing if done for a long time since you can't eat healthy. Then again you would have lot of comp dollars to spend on overpriced food.

What exactly do mean by skipping the line in cash game? You mean if there is a waitlist for any caesars property cash game, you automatically go to the top of the list or below whoever is diamond? So other people get bumped down?


The diamond plus gets you the free four drinks but which locations have these? Diamond plus also gives you access to food as well? So wouldn't that mean someone could eat those foods during the whole time? Of course eating whatever food like is obviously not healthy when eating it everyday.

I was able to go to Starbucks in Ceasars and use my 4 drinks. That opened up options of OJ, Coffee, Tea, or any of their special drinks which I sometimes get for wife/kids.

I’m not quite following what you're laying down. But room offers have nothing to do with your tier status and everything to do with your player rating. And diamond+ does not get food vouchers. Only drinks. It doesn’t matter what day it is. It’s every day as long as you are diamond+.

As far as how hard it is to get, it’s 25k points vs 15k. So you do the math.

But of course, they seem to be having 5x tier promotions quite often nowadays, so they obviously don’t seem to care about too many people getting diamond+. I imagine they will be watering the benefits down soon.

Depends. He stays at their properties a lot.if he's always staying at Harrah's or whatever he might as well get the drinks.

He basically never getting weekend comps as a low level diamond that only plays poker.

I mean really at the end of the day he might as well take the drinks. His ADT is trash anyway.
