I use a good amount of comps when I travel to Vegas for weekday stays, as platinum my weekend rates are wack obv. I have taken my time to learn the booking system as well as free play associated with my account.

Those that have stated that they have offers but can’t book. Usually that only happens when the offer has a “book by” a certain date associated with it, for ex. an october comp might say “book by sept 30” in the fine print, and if you try and book on Oct 1 it will say offer not available (I imagine if you are platinum or higher a phone call will allow you to book they are helpful over the phone). Caesars weekdays must be slow because I get comped rooms for most strip properties and I don’t do alot in the pits, just poker. Be sure to cycle through every room type because sometimes the nicer rooms have less bookings and the offer will still be valid and comped. Also if the offer has a night minimum (usually 2) then you can’t book one night stays on that particular offer but the ones that say “up to x amount of nights” can be booked for one night.

Debit card holds I am familair with at this point. The deposit hold comes back on my card in 3 business days IF checkout is on a weekday thats not close to weekend, if you checkout on sat or sunday, expect your money back wed or thurs.

Casino free play (slots or table) is interesting because its supposed to show up on my kiosk but I always have to go to cage and they have to “activate” it even though its a free play SEPARATE from my hotel stay (check your offers and see if you have this, screenshot and show it to the cage). It seems that they make any free play that is not directly associated with the booking offer hard to access. I was able to get my $50 after being firm and showing screenshot to the cage at the hotel I was staying (can’t get it at another property that you aren’t staying, def tried that) and went black/red on a quick roulette spin to win. If you book a “freeplay w/ stay” offer, generally those give you a higher freeplay amount and easier to access.

I will say my credits are not what they were last year and obv they see that and adjusted accordingly (I have been doing more at the poker table and machines than live blackjack and craps).

Only thing I am not familiar with at this point is the sports betting account and getting rewards points off the betting kiosk since I am not a resident in a state that allows me to use the app. IÂ’m sure my $5 parlaya wonÂ’t get me much.

I used to get 5x TCs offers for AC, but now it's been switch to all Vegas in Oct & Dec in my rewards account.

I've been able to get resort fees on second rooms waived in both Joliet and Kansas City. Should I expect to be able to do the same in Vegas? I'm Diamond, probably will be Diamond Plus by the time it will matter.

For the Caesars bonus tier credits that you earn in a day (for example, get 1,000 TCs when you earn 1,000 TCs), when do they post to your account?

Also, when Caesars run a bonus tier credit promotion towards the end of a money, are the bonus tier credits still counted in that month even if they might show up in your account until the following month? I was thinking about Christmas. If Caesars runs a 3x or 5x promo then, those bonus tier credits are still for 2023 regardless when they might show in your account, right?

Normally the daily tier credit bonuses will show up the next day or shortly after. Earlier this year they had some very long delays which was likely because of the hack they suffered from.

Two years ago I relied on the bonus from play on New Year's Eve to hit Diamond Plus and didn't have any problems.

With multipliers they usually mention in the fine print when the bonus tier credits will be posted.

When this sort of thing happens, you want to make sure your keys are going to work the second night. Sometimes the new booking seems to trigger a change in keys as well, which can be a pain to find out after you have already walked up to your room.

i always tell them at the front desk when i check in to link the reservations so i can keep the same keys. sometimes they have to get someone who knows how to do it but it's never been an issue.

Oh yeah, you need to tell them you want to stay in the same room when you first check in or they might have a completely different room reserved for you. Even if you do that they always tell me I need to go to the front desk and get my keys re-flashed.

You can't use the free drink things from Diamond+ at the gift shops (I've checked)

Most gift shops, there are a handful in vegas that accept the vouchers.

You think that list is up to date? Lol. It says things like lounge bar coming soon at harrahs. Its been open for 6 months. Ive used drink vouchers at purple zebra for example, not on the list. New Guy Fieri place at horseshoe not on the list. Caesars could care less about actually helping their customers and providing accurate information.
