Unless they changed things, yes the 5x and bonus are separate. You can stack, as in your example, but not combine. I.e. you can NOT earn 1000 apply the 5x to make 5000 TC and the expect to earn the 5k bonus. In my 1000 ex you get (1000*5)+1000=6000.

Again this presumes CET has not change the rules.

What do you mean by “poker”? Live cash poker? Live tournament poker? Video poker? Online games?

If you are asking about live poker I believe it is excluded. But if you are talking about on site video poker, that is included at the couple of locations I checked.

Why would live poker be excluded? Its 5x on everything. Caesars isn't smart enough to know how to separate that.

I think a lot of times it says poker is excluded but their computer system is such antiquated garbage they can't figure out how to do it.

What also got hit by 5x was a credit card bonus of 2500 tier that came in during that week. One day I woke up with an extra 12K or whatever in tier credits…Diamond in a day truly

One minute I went to being halfway to Diamond and the next I just needed to grind a little more for Diamond Plus

Well I was quite the numbnut on my Vegas trip. They wound up comping me $1200 and then midway through the trip another $1000 in freeplay. Food I got the $500 and about another $500 was comped off at the end. Through my losing trip, I decided to cash in some built up rewards points I had accumulated throughout the past few months so twice I cashed in 200k in points and got $1000 in free play each time. With one of those 1k's I caught a $3k 4 deuces with a 12X multiplier once on Ultimate X deuces wild, $.50 cent, 10 play game. Ratholed some of that.
I played like a maniac, and earned about 50k rewards points while losing a pretty penny in the process. Craps and Pai Gow destroyed me. I had 29 consecutive losses/ties with face up Pai Gow, a personal record I hope to never break. A couple times during that stretch I did what I call a 'stack dump' thinking it was my only way to make up for the prior losses. Of course, the 'stack dump's went straight into the dealer's tray. When I finally won a hand, it was a relatively small bet of $300/$400 and didn't feel too good.
I've got a tier score north of 500k, and I don't see much additional value as the only bonus I see at this level is Ceasars "Signature Events." and I don't see much excitement in them, but I may do one or two obligatorily. I made back a smidgen of money at the end, so that left me with a sad smile on my face, and a glimmer of hope for another trip. Although to have that minor victory, I damn near lost monies I had ratholed throughout the trip, and was determined to bring back, had that happened I would have left angry (At myself).

fyi if you have the william hill/caesars sportsbook app you can cash in your rewards credits at 100 rcs=1 dollar ratio and just have to bet it once on sports or in the casino to clear it.
