I have successfully gotten this 125TC bonus once from poker alone, but after failing upon a second attempt, despite being pretty sure I played the requisite hours during the proper time frame, I have given up on trying again. It is too frustrating to deal with TR who will do nothing to help with this. System maintenance or some other snafu screwed me out of the 125 bonus.
Yup, arrived at 6:30 am and got seated at 7. With a few breaks here and there, ended at 2 am. It helped that I ran not quite as hot as the sun, but almost. Every few hours I went up to the desk to verify my hours up to that point, and kept an eagle eye on the Bravo thing on the table to make sure I didn't get lobbied by accident.

I didn't even think of that. That works? It's updated basically in real-time?

Thanks, guys.

I notice also that getting the credit card doesn't just get you platinum, it gets you 10,000 (!) TC. Ima have to sign up for that after I finish my house refi.

For poker and machines, yes. For table games, no.

You misread. You get 10,000 RCs, not TCs, which is $100 in rewards credits. And you only get that after charging $750 within 90 days.

According to the TR website, you now get Tier Credits and Reward Credits from WSOP events. Probably not for the cash games in the WSOP area though, because they are pop-up tables and don't have tableside Bravo tracking.

Yes you do.

Where are you getting your information from? Or did you just decide to make something up based on nothing?

I've never been able to find anything official about how TCs are calculated for these events. But I was hoping someone who enters a lot of them had been keeping track.

IME, it seems to uodate about five minutes after you have been logged off of the poker table. Sometimes you have to check it twice for it to update though.

I've had the same experience as Nick.

If the rio/wsop cash games are pop up tables with no bravo tracking, how/can you be able to see what games are spread in the bravo app?

My info for no tier/reward credits was just that you get nothing from every other tournament, so I assumed u got nothing from wsop as well. It is news to me they are giving rc for tourney play.

Crap. Oh well, a hundred bucks is a hundred bucks.

Charging $750 is easy for me - I pay my cable and power bills, buy all my gas, food, etc all with cc.

yeah, I got the other one last summer. You get one every year. I'm not sure if it resets Jan 1, or whenever your status resets though (or maybe those 2 are the same?).

They use Bravo for listing games at the check-in desk, so you can see it on the app. But the tables don't have Bravo machines to swipe your card. WSOP started giving RC for tourney play in 2015 I believe.

The brush in the WSOP cash game area updates Bravo manually. Sometimes they keep up fairly well, other times they are hours behind.

Those games must be so juicy that no one cares about the comps at that point!

meh... juicy? some... but mostly you have to count your own pots, watch your own chips and watch out for some shifty individuals.

i've seen chips stolen off the top of someones stack.

While its focus is on the 7star level, a lot of what the site goes over also applies to diamond card holders. I just recently started reading the monthly newsletter, and it is very informative.

I found a Diamond card lying next to a VP machine. I might've snagged it in hopes of skipping lines, etc but it was a gal's name. I doubt I'd be able to sell the "like Caitlyn Jenner" thing.

Sorry if this is slightly off-topic, but this seems to be the most active Total Rewards type thread: anyone know if I get any type of "credit" in the comp system for using a comp and staying at a CET property?

Heading back to Vegas in June for a bachelor party and staying at a non-CET property, but have free rooms available through Total Rewards. Assuming I give CET the same amount of play whether I book the CET room or not, any benefit to booking the CET room comps-wise, or should I save the resort fees (pretty much no way I actually use the room)?

it's worse for your comps if you make a trip and don't play afaik

You're better off not taking the comp room unnecessarily.

I used to believe this also. It may be true. But.. I took three three day blocks of comped rooms at Red Rock last WSOP gave no action and nothing changed. I took a five day and a three day block at RIO last WSOP gave no action except tournaments and nothing changed.

To be specific all they do is comp me rooms, not meals and I do have a history of extensive black chip BJ play but its from 10 years ago.

Also I did have two ten hour long sessions of BJ at Red Rock a few times a year but whether I won or lost $5K ish didn't seem to make a difference in room comping.

FYI Starting May 30th I have 11 days of comped rooms at RIO and Harrahs despite having given them no action in a year. I pay resort fee. I do have a $10K open credit line from back in the day but doubt that makes any difference as I last used in 2004.

Also I put my girlfriend in at $50 a hand for half of those BJ sessions ( I never bet less than $100) and she now gets bigger and better comping offers than I do.

Good luck trying to figure out all the logic they use for this stuff.
Any time I degen it up on the floor I usually do it at a Caesar's property since they are pretty decent with free rooms for me, however about 8-10 years ago I go to the wynn because they had a specific poker game running that i wanted to play, i play in the poker room for a few hours and game breaks. I put about $300 through VP and slots and never returned during that trip or aftewards. Well for several years after that they would mail me all kinds of offers for 2-3 free nights and $50-100 in slot play. Last year during WSOP i booked 3 nights there comped for part of my WSOP trip, gave them almost no play and this time the offers afterwards changed to discounted nights. Few months later my dad had to go out to Vegas for work, i met him out there and we took discounted rooms at encore since his company was paying for them, gave them reasonable play, put it all on my card but no more free rooms from them on even though the trip with my pops had reasonable play.

Are there any 99%+ video poker that have $10/TC or is it all $25 or $50 now?
