Not aware of any CET restaurants doing this but I do know that Salt Grass (where you can use GN comp dollars) will sell their steaks uncooked to go. Then you can cook at home. Call and ask.

Had a chunk of GN comp dollars saved up for a large dinner which was cancelled and were going to expire, so we bought steaks to freeze and cook at home. This might be a COVID thing or maybe they always did.

Maybe buy a bottle of wine but ask them to not open. Might be a package liquor sales issue if they don’t open?

Heck a shot of a good single malt (double for sure) will clear the $100 and take it out to enjoy. Or just order a take out meal

Thanks to all for taking time to answer my question. Some helpful insights.

As for this question, I was planning to be in Vegas but now I'm not 100% sure. I do like the idea of playing for $10/credit but was just in Tahoe a few months ago. I'm leaning towards not worrying about it as the last week of December is the worst timing possible.

Thanks again guys.

The games at Bally's are $10/ tier credit, but nothing with a better return than 98.6.

Tahoe, and probably now Reno, have 9/6 Jacks at 10/tier credit. Those games are also smaller denomination multi-line games, which tends to smooth out your volatility a bit.

The ev difference is strong enough that I'm skipping the 5x promo here in Vegas in favor of playing the Tahoe games without the TC multiplier.

Thanks for chiming in. After walking around and getting some steps in I think this is pretty much the case unless I want $100 bucks in Starbucks coffee beans.

I actually saw this happen. Tiny old asian lady held up the line for 30 minutes using 3 different forms of comps and her celebration dinner to get a backpack full of coffee beans. No shame.

Why any shame needed? She earned her comps; let her spend them how she wants. The fact that their system is so slow this transaction took so long isn’t her fault. That is on the casino and/or SB. Now if she had them all ground, meh, maybe a small complaint. But even this is really a staffing issue.

If SB doesn’t want these kinds of orders, just don’t sell beans and or don’t offer grind service. There is a certain casino the wife and I get good comps/food credits but it has no restaurants we like or enjoy. We do really like their coffee bar. However, does not sell beans or ground coffee.

We just this week used my credits, wife’s credits and some comp dollars to buy about $150 of beans in a local casino. It took less than two minutes to order and check out. The bulk of that was for them to go in back to get the beans (since wife did not want to empty out what was on the shelf. Heck I was not even at the counter to confirm my ID.

Ime buying beans from a SB with casino comps takes less time than buying and getting a cup of coffee with cash, and all I get is a standard coffee. Comps not any slower than CC or gift card.

At OP, that is another option. Buy a gift card(s) from a restaurant to use later or give as a gift. My wife has done that before to spend comps, credits, coupons getting ready to expire.

Because of the sports betting apps and having a couple days of play at a couple different properties im about 30k points away from being eligable for 7 stars, and my normal coin in at casinos in like 3-4 visits is roughly 10k, so im assuming i will get the 7 stars unless they look down on my sports betting, which i am up money on so far on the app, so playing a game of trying to put in volume there while not getting limited to 25$ bets, my question is basically: im going to have about 10-20k more points from the sports betting app i believe, so if it comes down to it and i need 10kish tier credits at the end of the month, is it worth it to go to a casino and just have a grand old time firing. My plan was to go to a local place i havent been before that way if i fire in a way like i bring 10k to play blackjack with and bet 100 a hand or something for x amount of time i will get the needed points then be on my way and get offers from that casino in terms of free play that i can go pick up on later dates so to get a rebate on any firing i do. Way majority of the points ive earned come from the sports betting app not from being at casinos like i said. Any one have any advice for me? Go for it if im close? Or just be diamond elite its not that much of a difference? Majority of the bets ive made are under 500$, theres just been a high volume of them, idk if that will effect whether i am going to be accepted into 7 stars or not if i have enough points

I'd grind seven star if it were me because it jumps to top of poker lists almost everywhere, and I'd just find a decent video poker machine and use that.

There is a 5x tier credit day coming up around Christmas.

So do they just give you a free $20 / month to bet on sports? What's the catch?

Probably the same as slot free play. No real trick other than self restraint to stop.

TBH Diamond elite jumps to top also usually unless a seven star shows up.

Is this actual money you can win and spend someday, or just juice that you don't have to pay? Sometimes the books call a "free" bet, one that you just don't have to pay juice on.

I get them randomly with no email notifying me, i am a very active player though. I had a $222 free bet recently, no idea what it was for. I get the monthly diamond elite 75$ free bet, dont get an email for it, and get several "profit boosts" which are like they raise the odds for your bet, for instance if the odds are -110 instead if you apply the profit boost your odds for the bet will now be like +125 or something. FWIW if you use the boosts, the boosts pretty much can make any bet profitable if you assume the lines are good to begin with so like if you wait until an nfl sunday and apply the profit boosts its going to be a profitable bet for what you boost if you assume the lines are good lines, which nfl sunday before game time are supposedly the most efficient/best lines.

I have gotten some so called Free Bets for $25 in my William Hill account in Las Vegas before, But its just free money dropped into your account, If you are inactive and don't make any bets for the month, then they take it back. I bet everyday so, its just free money.

A week or so ago they had a promo that if I bet x amount in a 4 day period I get $25 a month dropped into my account for all of 2022, and I did it.

I have the regular old WH app tho, not the new Caesars one. Not sure if its different.

I get this every month. No catch but need to bet at least $10 in the month prior. Good for 30 days.

Odds boosts are worth way more on dogs
The bigger the dog the more they're worth

Buried deep within their website you can find a pdf, which has a QR code, which you can scan with your phone, which links you to another pdf, which has the lists of restaurants you can use the celebration dinner at. Bacchanal is on that list so I should be good lol.

Quick questions. These have probably been answered before, but this is a huge thread, so please indulge me.

I read in an old reddit thread that for earning tier points with poker, you get 17 points per hour for $1-3, 34 for $2-5 or higher, and at Caesars palace itself, that's doubled. Is that still right? That would be 5000 points / 64 points at CP $2-5 = 73 hours to get platinum?

I'm a little unclear about how your long your tier status lasts. If I earn gold now, since it's the end of the year, do I go back to zero/gold on Jan 1? Should I wait until Jan 1 until trying to earn Caesars points? If that's the case, I can focus on mlife now instead since their period is oct to sept.

Do the multiplier rewards days count for poker?

And if you do get plat.... does mlife match it for their version of it (pearl) or is that too low roller for them to bother matching?

I know, small stakes questions, I'm just a humble non-degen trying to get some free parking.

The matches between mlife and Total Rewards (in either direction) are (almost?) always a once in a lifetime. So while they probably will/would match at those lower levels, personally I would not "waste" my one shot on a low level match. Also often the matches are only offered when you first sign up (this is not always the case) so if you already have both a TR and an Mlife card, they probably don't match no matter what you level.

With that said, if you were are real high roller with a multi year 7 Start status and you went to a MGM casino and talked to an (Executive) host in person, they probably couldn't or wouldn't match levels, but if they believed you they could offer some initial incentives should they believe they could steal your action from CET. But if you just milked them, it would get noted on your "file" and it would be a one time thing.
