I can't upvote/like this enough. I can only assume it's a net win for them with regards to differences to online rates vs call-in rates or whatever else can benefit them. Which is also infuriating.

Last time they quoted me a higher rate (maybe this is the rate without logging in) but offered a lower rate that was very close to what I saw so I accepted it. I get the impression they have some leeway to lower the rates so haggle away!
They have told me they have the 3 day rule before. Guess it depends on how lucky you get.

Usually on weekends you have to reserve Friday AND Saturday if you want a weekend reservation.

Huh? I've booked only a Friday or only a Saturday dozens of times. Also, the stupid system does exactly the same thing on other days. In May, I went to Tunica and had already booked a checkin Wed, checkout Fri and wanted to add a checkin Fri, checkout Sun (different room type) and got the dumbass "Our system indicates you already have a reservation for this time period."

I could call and book it, so it's not a policy thing, just a fail on their system. I don't WANT to call. I hate having to call and explain to people what I want to do after navigating their stupid phone tree and telling them my 27 digit TR number. It is 2021 and I want to book, modify, and/or cancel my reservations on the internet.

Also, from my calling this week with a companion #, apparently they swapped out my email for my companions email. So now I can't even change anything on my account without being at a TR Center.

The rewards between AC and LV were what drove the benefits for CET properties, but I'm about done.

I agree they should provide more info online (such as best rates available on every calendar day, not just dates where comps aren't' available), and enhance the online functionality. For the simple stuff, I would much rather do it all myself.

But when it comes to booking complicated reservations, like for the WSOP timeframe, I love being able to talk to a human being. Just recently, an agent helped me save $400 by finding an offer and arranging my reservations in a way to be able to take advantage. I would never have found this myself. I realize its hit or miss depending on the agent you get and what your status is (I'm certain they take better care of their higher-rated players). But still, its nice to talk to a person sometimes. This has been even more apparent to me in recent months with CET labor shortages and since CET has hired so many new agents who aren't quite up to speed yet.

If what you say is true, diamond must not be high enough to get good service because I called when I was diamond and was on hold for quite a long time and I had entered my reward number so they knew my level if they checked that sort of thing.

If you want some support for this idea, I can tell you that I never wait and they phone people are always helpful when I call and I'm 7star. To be fair, I never really book my own rooms now because my host does it, but it definitely seems like they might prioritize the customer service that higher tier people get.

Free for anyone with a Caesars TR card that allows free parking at other Caesars properties.

I don’t think you should judge it by how things are now. There are still labor shortages and many of the folks who are there are inexperienced. Plus they’re integrating ElDorado properties which I’m sure brings its own set of logistical challenges. If things are still like this come 2022, I think it would be fair to say service has gone downhill. But for now you should cut them some slack.

Sorry that I didn't make it clear that this was a couple of years ago.

It was even bad when they had a host office at my home CET casino and I asked for help in taking advantage of a promo offer I received. I was the only person in the office and the host barely gave me the time of day.

Well, that has not been my experience and I’m just a Diamond. But like I sAid, I’m sure it’s hit and miss.

What number did you call? I called 1-877-7player earlier this week to make a change to a reservation I had already made. It didn’t ask for my rewards number. There was a phone tree and I was on hold for maybe two minutes. When they answered, they asked for my confirmation code and changed my reservation without any problems. I was on the phone for less then five minutes. I was surprised by how quick it was. I was expecting to be on hold for a lot longer.

that **** is so tilting especially when you're only calling up bc their website is antiquated.

You left out restaurant of the day recommendation. I hate calling Caesars. The Borgata I haven't called in a while, but Borgata was the best. Call was 40 secs. Hello, card number, verify, book, goodbye. No stupid questions or sales pitch like Caesars. I used to press 2 on Caesars calls when they'd ask you to share feedback on the encounter. I suggested they stop with the long bs, but I think it just continued to get worse.

you still get reward and tier credit multipliers for poker. It comes out less bc reward credits and tier credits for poker are around 27 per hour, even though you get 1.5 or 2 comps per hour. The tier credit or rewards credit multipliers are based off the 27 not the 1.5 or 2 comps per hour.

That may be a special rate for only 1 or 2 nights and you're booking more than that.

I don't remember, but I am guessing it would have been the number on the back of the card.

Customer service seems to have gone downhill with each succeeding merger. When it was still just Harrahs and I was plantinum level, I had a casino host who would show up within ten minutes of my using my players card.

I only call through the app. I'm not sure I've ever been on hold for more than 5 minutes, so I'm surprised to hear others have a hard time connecting.
