Yes, I got mine this year. Between that, resort fees being $32, show tickets, and the lounges offering free snacks and booze, it's totally worth it.

Plus, I also did the First Repulic offer for $350 so worth the $400 fee.

fisherfolk- are you thinking of the "VIP" pass from spending $10k on the total rewards Visa credit card, because that doesn't get you all the diamond perks

They also stack on top of the bonus credits it says.
"Daily Tier Credit Bonuses earned during the Offer Period will count towards meeting the 1,000 Tier Credit minimum and will be included in the calculation of the Spring Tier Credit Bonus amount."

Looks like the extra tier credits are added at the end of the promo? ie, if I show up at caesars and want to earn diamond in a day, I'll still need to do 5k tier credits if I want to be diamond effective immediately?

I'm sure for some people it might be helpful but this promo doesn't seem to do much for me unless I'm misunderstanding it.

Well, they've shifted things around a bit this year -- the rollover point is now January 1st.

I added my wife into my Founders Card as a significant other in January when I realized that hers never needs to be renewed. She got a 2016 Diamond Celebration dinner certificate that we used in February. I still had the 2015 one to use at that time, as I had joined Founders sometime in the mide of 2015, before Caesars changed their rollover date.

1) How many tier credits per hour for 2/5? I assume Caesars properties still don't have 5/10 and 2/5 only runs consistently at Caesars Palace?

2) How fast do you accumulate tier credits through online play? WSOP.com? Can someone from a state not approving online poker or from a foreign country play on WSOP.com?

3) If one acquires Diamond in 2016, that status remains until Dec31 2017, and Platinum for 2018 correct?

4) 5K tier credit in one day and you're Diamond? What is this equivalent to, in terms of table games let's say blackjack or baccarat... Playing at how much per bet how many boxes for how long?

1. 34 in most locales i think.
2. it depends what stakes u play but 1 rake = 1 tc. 1app=1 tc
3 ur status remains until jan 31 2018 i believe. and ur new status would be whatever u achieved in 2017.
4.impossible i think or nosebleed stakes for a long time.

Just curious, which casino? When we went last April, she had just joined FC and wasn't made diamond yet, but we called FC and they sped it up so TR would be notified.

The LINQ TR desk was useless, went next door to Flamingo and it was like night and day different, Flamingo took care of us with no problems.

I think what he's implying is that if you get Founders Card in say June 2016, you will be given diamond for the rest of 2016 and 2017, and till end of January 2018. Then in Feb 2017, Founders will renew your diamond status extending it till end of Jan 2019. Then you cancel the card before renewing it in June 2017.

Just to be clear, during the current Caesars promotion of double tier score until Jun 30, since all cash games currently give 34 TC per hour, effectively it becomes 68 TC per hour, meaning 15,000/68 = 220.59 hours of cash play and you get Diamond for 2016 through to end of 2017?

Just clarifying because that seems incredible.

IF this is correct, you should go for tier bonuses (if those are still applied during this promo). 15 hours played in a day (6 am to 5:59 am) gets you 1020+1000 tier credits. 7 days of that (14140 hours) plus 11 more hours in one day (748+125 credits) and you'd be Diamond in 8 days. Only 116 hours to get Diamond (although I'd suggest playing a little more than 15 hours to ensure that you get the 1000 point bonus).

50% tier credit boost, not 100%.

All of these TC are credited in July after the promo period, so they will not contribute to daily bonuses.

It's my understanding that 500 TC earned in one day (6am to 5:59am) also earns a 250 TC daily bonus though, so there may be some compounding possible.
