Aria will not put you top of list with platinum. I know because I've tried. Maybe they will with Noir, will report back once I become a much bigger degen.
well I dunno about you but $5 would not be worth me having $100 on an Amex card that I will probably forget to use, or if I do use it I would probably spend $92.17 on it then just toss it as well. Seems crazy.
Only you can decide how much value you can get out of it, whether it be CET or otherwise. How many nights of waived resort fees can you expect to get in 1 year in case it were to go away? How much of a gamble do you think it is that they will be around next year?
I'm TR Platinum and booked Rio Jun 2-8 with 1 night not being comped and cost is $253 for 1 Sunday night charge and resort fees. Doesn't take much to cover the cost of the founders card. If I was for sure going out there again I'd definitely buy it.

anyone know if comps ($2/hr) from play at caesars poker room can be applied toward the buffet?
The comps from any CET poker room can be used at any CET property across the country; you just get your comps automatically applied to you card in the form of Rewards credits.
This isn't true. They don't do it consistently.
For example Harrah's in AC used to tier match Borgata black card and I think the Horshoe in Baltimore used to tier match Maryland Live. Not sure about the CET properties in Vegas.
pulled the trigger on the founders card. they just asked where i worked, what my title is, and asked for a website. the lady on the phone went to the website while i was there to make sure it was legit i guess. Called on Friday, got an email this morning saying it was approved and on the way. Went right to the Caesars Diamond portal on the website and entered my TR info and email.
Now I'm wondering how long it will take to show up diamond. Website says up to 6 weeks, people here have said as quick as a week, and others said that as soon as they checked into a CET hotel it was done. I wonder if I make a reservation for next week it will expedite the process? I travel for work twice a month and stay at Harrahs New Orleans or Harrahs Gulf Coast (Biloxi) so I'm hoping for next week when I'm planning on staying at Biloxi.
If you need it expedited you can call up Founders to push it through. It still might not show up on CET site but if you go to the host inside Diamond check-in at your hotel there should be a note on your account that you're eligible. I went through this last summer.
