I'm not sure about the matching status, but I grinded poker only in 2019 to diamond plus. Carried over to 2020 and now 2021 and I didn't even make platinum in 2020.

Rumor was Ceasars gave you a free extra year because of covid and that's what happened to me. Might be different if you earned the TCs vs status match.

Status match. If what happened to NTellier85 is correct, then I'm a little disappointed as I miss out on a diamond dinner this year without rematching.

if you didnt make diamond last year and are still diamond because of extension, you dont get another $100 Diamond dinner.

Seems pretty straightforward. If you see this when you login right now, it's extended. If it still says 2021, it's probably not.

I status matched to diamond this past nov which is still good until 2022

I status matched last year and even had caesars tell me i would lose diamond after Jan 31st 2021 and i did.... For 3 days lol.

I logged in Feb 1st and i was indeed demoted back to platinum as expected, i log back in Feb 3rd and it now says Im diamond again til Jan 31st 2022... Ill take it i guess

By their terms they have to give u 7 Stars if you hit the 150k tier credits, you could theoretically take it to the GC. Noir at MGM is by invite only. But Diamond Elite at CET still has great benefits. I get $560 slot dollars a week at Harrah's PHL and 4 nights comped at Harrah's AC. So I would recommend trying to reach Diamond Elite as CET's rewards system is the best but u can get buried by trying to reach 7 Stars. Platinum at MGM is good if want the free rooms, but the promos are meh. It may be different in Vegas but CET is worth the grind if u are willing to put in the volume.

Card tier does not affect your comps. Your personal play and average daily theoretical and all that goes into the calculation for your personal comp offers. Just because you are diamond or noir or platinum doesn't mean anything.

Except for listed and obvious offers, like diamond gets resort fees waived.

I remember when diamond (even via matched status or through founders card) used to get you a bunch of extras other than just no resort fees like free access to spa and gym, 2 free show tickets, lounge access, and stuff.

Are any perks other than the resort fees waived still around currently for just the basic level of Diamond?

It was the same for me but I contacted customer service for extension

A perfect example of this was when my wife (never played a CET card before) and I (Diamond Plus) went to Vegas together for the first time. Post-trip I was getting rooms at most CET hotels, but nothing spectacular. She was getting much higher-end rooms, despite only receiving platinum.

(We now combine as "companion" travelers and get the good **** every time, unless we're getting a room for someone else)

I think they still do 2 free show tickets (when shows are around). I think currently the only thing you can get i the high roller ride. A lot of lounges are closed, so a not-very-advertised alternative is you can collect 4 drink tickets a day, good for a cocktail at some bars/restaurants.

The other main perk is the $100 celebration dinner.

Oh yeah? How do you get the drink tickets? I've tried the flash-yer-Diamond thing that someone posted about some time ago, but there were no tickets involved and it only worked at some bars.

WRT free show tickets, that's 2 per month, so if you want to see a lot of shows, go at the end of the month. Note that these are not headliner shows, except maybe for Penn and Teller. They're the kind of shows that are like $15-$25.

There's also free parking, maybe valet too (I never use valet with my own car), use of Diamond check-in, which is HUGE sometimes. Most of the time you can get free waters in the Diamond check-in area. Jump the poker wait lists, except for 7 Stars stay ahead of you. Separate registration at the WSOP (also HUGE).

Amazes me how something like this manages to remain inconsistent between bars, and bartenders. Whole threads about it on other boards. In my experience, the bar at the front (strip) entrance at Bally's was an, "of course," when I asked if they give free drinks to Diamond, while the bar at the sports book at Planet Hollywood was a, "yeah, we do it, but only certain drinks and we're gonna do it with kind of a scowl." Center bar at Flamingo (Bugsy's Bar?) was also a "sure thing" kind of deal.

Diamond Check-in and $100 celebration dinner are good perks, but my favorite perk by far is dedicated betting lines at sports books. SOOOOOOOOO handy during the first weekend of March Madness.

You can print out tickets from the kiosks on the casino floor. The web page above lists bars and restaurants that are participating.

Diamond Plus and higher get four drink tickets a day, max value is $20. Seven Stars also get a $10 food coupon once per day. Unless they've changed things, you cannot use your drink ticket on a $21 item and pay the difference. It's all or nothing.

Personally I recommend Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesars for using drink coupons.

Looks like my COMP days are over. That was fun while it lasted.

So I gave them about $1,000 in theo trying to make Diamond Plus. All on good video poker machines.

And they gave me 25 comped nights total. And seem to have now figured out I'm not playing any more video poker.

How many visits is that? I was never able to book more than 3 visits in advance.

I haven't been in a year, and didn't miss Vegas. I realized the only reason I want to go is for the WSOP. Otherwise I only go to make Diamond, and I only make Diamond for the WSOP. I might try to go this summer if the Venetian, Wynn, Orleans, etc run a series of their own.

WRT drink tickets, I've never been Diamond Plus so I'm outta luck there. With a formal ticket system I can't even scam a free beer with just my Diamond card either.

5 visits. they'd only offer me 5 COMP nights in a row. a couple times about 24 hours before checkout they offered one more COMP night.

I can also only book 3 reservations in advance before the system locks me out. I used to be able to call in to have them add another reservation but haven't tried in a few years.
