It's true that it is invite only, but if you get the TCs and you ask, then you'll get it as long as you haven't had issues with them (unpaid markers, run-ins with security, suspected advantage players etc). The 'invite only' part is to 1) give them an out with problem people and 2) to make it seem more exclusive than it is. They actually like giving it out as it encourages people to maintain it.

People correctly believe that casinos really don't care about poker players, but that is because the cost of the floor space and the staff is high relative to the rake generated. But, that's largely untrue with online players. If you pay enough rake to get your 7star tier credits, you'll get the status.

Yes. Your status may not show a new expiration date until Feb 1, but it will be extended until next Jan. 31 (2022).

All three times I’ve had a problem the person I talked to says the answer is to just wait and the problem will resolve itself. And it never does. They clearly just say that so they don’t have to deal with it. Meanwhile you’re waiting for weeks.

Once was a confirmed lie: dude said it was a system glitch that I couldn’t get discounted rates on future stays while currently at a Caesars hotel. No, that’s how it works. You have to wait a couple days between stays.

(Regarding whether anyone has yet received their tier credits for their December 2020 play on WSOP.com):

I got a bunch of tier credits I wasn't expecting around December 31st/January 1st which counted for 2020 just before I switched over to a zero tier credit balance for 2021. I'm now thinking these were my December WSOP.com poker tier credits, since I didn't receive any at the usual monthly time later in January.

You're extremely live to get denied seven star if you get all your points thru good video poker machines or wsop.com. I was denied doing exactly that and they had absolutely zero sympathy. I've heard of tons of others this has happened to as well.

I got the same actually and I wasn't sure when I came from but now that I think about it they probably were dec 2020 wsop tier credits which is total bs when we're told they would post in 2021

Were you doing the VP play on mostly tier credit multiplier days? That's the only case I've heard of someone getting denied 7S.

either way is ok but it should be clearly communicated and consistent.

they seem unaware of how much time some people put into planning this stuff. or they just don't care. they're doing the same with me regarding a 2020 promo they're trying to retroactively change the terms of.

Doesn't seem that bad. It was earned in 2020 and goes to 2020 score. I'm sure some people rose status as a result.

CET continues to shock me with free stuff, which I pretty much never got before. They've actually offered me a free room on Super Bowl weekend, along with a big dining credit and even some free play. I'm actually thinking about going, but I keep seeing intermittent references to huge crowds and very long poker lists. Has this become the new norm or just blips? I would think the Super Bowl would exacerbate crowded conditions and I don't like to wait in lines any more than anyone else.

How many days can I do at once per stay and how many stays can I have if they are all comps?

Poker waitlist is never long at Caesars Palace. They start games as soon as 5 or 6 names get on the list. And Diamond auto goes to top of list.

same. casinos are hurting. i have vegas and ac casinos who i haven't gotten offers from in years giving me good offers. some places i could never get weekends and would give me 2 nights a week now offering 4 including weekends etc. even free play of 50-200 dollars in places i burnt years ago on no playing when taking their offers. they're desperate.

I think the Dec tier credits did post to my account a little after 2 weeks. Not going to make a difference for me either way by the end of the year.

Website is good for comparing rates side by side but it won't let you book multiple reservations within a certain time frame for some reason.

You can still book the discounted rates through their call center in the Philippines. Also mention you already tried to book through the website and have them wave the $15 fee.
