Given that the lounges are mini-buffets, I wouldn't count on them opening anytime soon. Also, you don't get comped access until diamond plus (20K tier).

I received my first offers since they reopened. They are really opening the pocketbooks. $20 in July. $20 in August. Big spenders! Really makes me want to rush back to Vegas.

I'm getting emails again about my offers, which had mostly stopped while things were closed. But the offers so far are basically the offers that were already set up in March. A small number of offers from Tahoe, and a large number of offers from Laughlin, and none of them worth a trip for.

But like I said, these were basically all on my account already.

I can fly to Laughlin if I pay 99 bucks. Whoopee.

Laurel Lounges still closed, but this did come up in one of my newsfeeds last night:

The article said the food credits were $10, and I think it was saying that the drinks are up to $20 a pop, four drinks a day.

Lost track of what travel blog that was on, saved the graphic but not the link to the article, so I don't have any more information than that.

It's not unlimited, but it's free drinks, off the casino floor, which is much of what I want with the lounges when going out. Not that I'm going out yet.

20 bucks, in Caesars that should be good for an import beer or bottom of the barrel whiskey. 10 bucks in Old Homestead should be good for about one third of an appetizer?

Since Diamond lounges (refuse to call them Laurel, what a dumb name) have food in a buffet setup, have we seen the last of Diamond lounge food?

Wow, Starbucks? Four drinks a day from Starbucks?

Also, do I have to go through a host for the $100 Diamond dinner?

No host needed. Just have your Diamond card with you.

Harrahs NOLA used to have a set menu. Usually a soup/salad a couple choices of small plates like pasta or wings or a sandwich and a dessert. They recently switched to buffet when they started charging 1,000 tcs to reg Diamonds. Wonder if they're gonna switch back.

how many points do you need to start getting comped rooms in vegas? or do they stay around the same now? I haven't been to vegas since late 2018 when you could get comped room all the time harrahs or rio on weekdays without playing at all.

I can't see $10 at homestead going anywhere. I believe DiFara is the food court pizza place.

I took a peek at the menu on the website for Vanderpump, $20 will do for most Cocktails and a number of wines by the glass. Should be good for any beer at any bar on the list. Cocktails at Alto fit under $20 but not at Vista.

Vanderpump:

Lobby Bar:

Vista:

Alto:

The Spanish Steps bar is outside, didn't find a menu online but based on some pics, $20 should cover anything that's not supersized.

Quality reporting!

Now what about Starbucks? I could see there being some great value there when poker returns to Caesars. Not so much for coffee, personally, but rather iced teas/etc.

Confirmed at Starbucks. Tried all of the frappucinos. Lol. Starbucks manager had to process the transaction and it took awhile, but it got sorted.

Line too long at Caesars Starbucks near Laurel lounge, but Harrah’s Starbucks near hotel elevators was not busy.

Nice. I haven't been to the strip yet but will probably go on Friday with the wife when she gets off work.

A few questions remain. If it worked at the Harrah's Starbucks, then maybe Harrah's and Flamingo also have a list of bars for Drinks and possibly something for food credits. So if anyone is out there and sees something, please post a pic.

Also, wondering if the Seven Stars Companion gets free drinks/food credit or not. I hope so, it's always been good to get the holder into the lounge for free.

Guess we'll find out on Friday.

Harrahs is open? I thought only CP and Flamingo were for CET properties.

Yes, you can look at the booking site and see when all the others will open, which is soon.

Initial demand was good enough that they opened it up on June 5th.

Ah yes I see now. Hmmm... as recent as a month ago, I could book 5 nights for almost any dates and get it all comped, for all regular rooms at any of the hotels and several of the suites, including the 1700 sqft one at Ballys. Now I can't get ANY comped rooms at all. WTF.

Harrah’s sign. Haven’t been to flamingo to look for anything similar.

I've only been Diamond for 3 years and only been in maybe 3 of them in Vegas. All had basically finger food buffet style. Nothing as elegant as a menu.

I saw someone say Wynn plans to open their buffet soon, so maybe Diamond lounges will be back to normal sometime. Not that I can go in, not enough tc. But maybe I can use my half-dozen free Paris buffet coupons I got playing for Ballys freerolls.

That's the way it works. It was easy to get nice rooms when they were closed and not sure if anyone would show up when they opened. Now that people are there and losing money, they close up tighter than a cheerleaders zipper.

To be clear I was getting those comped rates for over a year, then they just disappeared within the past month for no reason.

I'm pretty sure caesars was giving out lots of comped rooms to make their company look like it's worth more money by having more customers and now that ownership has changed it'll be different. Caesars was also losing money on the freeroll tournaments they were having every week until they sold.

That BLOWS if that's the case. On my last trip 20 months ago I played a ton, even earned enough 1 day to earn DIAD. I'm still getting stay/play offers, 500 slot play with 3 free nights, etc. But if I can't get even get 1 day comped through the calendar rates I'm probably all done with them.
