Diamond finally came thru on Feb. 10. Total wait time: appox. 5-6 days (not business days, straight running days).

I recommend using https://totalrewards.custhelp.com/app/ask/list to help the process along if stalled.

Also . . . if booking rooms through a third party, VIP folks at hotel are reluctant to comp resort fees. Ideally, book directly with hotel.

This was also my turnaround time and I also matched successfully last year. I used the link on the Total Rewards site.

finally diamond. No idea if it was a FC request put in like 2/5 or so or my repeated e-mails (which never received a response) complaining about being downgraded despite earning enough TC on a pro-rated basis after Wyndham match last year

6 days - no response from Wyndham

2/1... Still waiting. I resubmitted the request yesterday, the screen confirmed I would get matched, but profile still shows Platinum.

Nice! I haven't seen that one yet but I'll check it out next month. I've seen Penn and Teller twice and Paranormal, WOW, X Rocks, a few singers, and a few comedy shows. The only terrible show I've seen is Potted Potter and the show I've liked best is Paranormal, which is still showing at Ballys (Mentalism/Magic).

A few quick comments regarding my trip to Atlantic City this week relating to Diamond status...

1. At Bally's, they have a machine that will print you a new diamond card by inserting your DL. No need to wait in line at desk. The only downside is that the new card doesn't have an expiration date. You might need this if your goal is to match with another status program elsewhere (like Golden Nugget).

2. The diamond/laurel lounge at Bally's is actually pretty nice. Lots of room and a good view of the water. The food was fairly solid too. Not a ton of options, but what I sampled was tasty (meatballs, eye round roast, alfredo, baked ziti, etc.). I had to pay the $10 through my reward credits because I was under the 25k mark.

3. At the Bally's poker room, they give out Fiji water if you ask. I'm not sure if they were always checking for diamond members but my last day there, the server asked to see my diamond card in order to get the Fiji water.

4. I checked in about 2:30 and the desk woman said there was an early checkin fee before 3 or 4 but I didn't have to pay because of the diamond status.

I think that's it for now. I'm sure more will come to me.

The only one I've seen is John Caparulo at Harrah's I think. Maybe it's Flamingo. There were about 15 other people in there, lol. I like his bits in his tv specials, but unfortunately he didn't do those in the show I saw.

I've gotten some Penn and Teller tickets but never used them because I was busy at showtime.

BTW, checked out some Strip vp last weekend. PHo double-whammied my favorite machine - not only did they drop the paytable into the 98% range, they also cranked it up to $25 per tier credit!

If they care about profits, they'll change things back soon. In the high limit room I never saw more than 2 players, including myself. As long as Southpoint and Red Rock have good machines, people will vote with their feet and play elsewhere. Smart people that still want Diamond will play vp somewhere else and just go Found a Club.

Not sure if they pushed through a bunch of match confirmations or if I just got lucky. I applied on Friday, and got matched sometime some time today (from Wyndham Diamond from Hilton Honors Gold from an HH Amex) - only three or four business days depending on whether they observed President's Day. Not bad.

It came through sometime in the last couple days. So about total 18 days. The important part is that it worked.

Does everyone wait until the first of the month to request for Diamond match? Im assuming most do, so they dont have to take the chance of being matched that last day of the month and have to earn more tier credits to maintain the status.

Anyone been to the Favorite Things Party? Is it worth attending? What's dress attire? Approx # of people?

I've been diamond for years and tried multiple times to get the wyndham diamond status but it always says they cant verify my TR number. I never stay at a wyndham so haven't given it any effort call and figure it out. Am i missing out on anything?

I don't think you're missing out on anything. Once you match it only lasts a few months if I remember correctly. The best thing to do with it, I think, is to match right before your Caesars diamond runs out so that you can match back, right?

Vancouver is beautiful. I lived there for five years. Asides from being unaffordable, the only thing I hate about it is the rain in the winter.

lol at this. Vancouver is an amazing city. Probably the worst thing about the city is seeing all the Habs fans at the Canucks games when they're in town.

Doing Amex platinum - Hilton Gold -Wynham Diamond - Ceazars Diamond

Got Wynham match after 10 days wait, now applied for diamond.

If I get Ceazars Diamond how does waived resort fees works?

Do I have to book through Ceazars only( I usually book through Expedia)?
Do I have to show my Diamond card during check in and request it?

If you book through Caesars theyrr waived automatically
If you book third party I've never had a problem showing them my diamond card and having them link it to waive the fees but some people have reported issues getting the fees waived
