I've never been in one of the Diamond clubs/lounges. What is it exactly?

Do they have free food? Free drinks? Is it a 24/7 nonstop orgy with only beautiful people?

FC is good for 2020-I was in LV this weekend, sent an email to the address earlier itt-I was back to Diamond within 12 hours and had the dinner loaded within 24

It varies by lounge, and by day. Harrah's lounge is consistently the best food-wise, in my opinion, and I like the atmosphere; feels more like hanging out in a bar.

And yeah, the people ain't pretty.....

Free food and drinks but the hours are limited, like 5 pm to 10 pm during the week, later on weekends.

No, just waited for it to happen. I don't anticipate going to Vegas until much later in the year, so not really a huge priority. I don't remember my FC anniversary date, but it is also close to this time, which, yes, is annoying.

I do sometimes take advantage of reduced room rates in Reno for my flyfishing forays on the Truckee River, but now that Harrah's Reno is closing, I'm not sure what I'm going to do. It's a haul to get to Lake Tahoe from the parts of the river I like to fish.

What do you fish for? Do you eat them?

Rainbows and Browns on the Truckee and am 100% catch & release there.

If I happen to hit the East/West Carson on the Tahoe side, I will keep a couple if they are decent sized because those are sterile planters and not part of a wild population. Haven't been out on that side for a few years, though.

I rarely ever get anything to eat because it always usually sucks and thats when its slam packed full of people (4 to 6) all excited lined up for some dry chicken wings or whatever. I can drink quite a bit and you can get pretty much anything you want to drink in there so we use it as a place to get some serious pregaming in before going out for the night. Harrahs, Paris, and then Caesars are my top 3 DL's because they have bars and have more of a bar feel.

The LL in Paris is awful imo. The vibe is like that of an IHOP with a bar.

Is there smoking in the DLs? That's a deal breaker for me.

This is the reply I received after emailing the address mentioned above. Time to sit back, enjoy my coffee, and wait.

Last year (first time I matched) I emailed in asking them to expedite just cause I was being impatient and basically wanted to see if it would actually do anything. (you can't get anything if you don't ask for it/ the worst they can do is say no right?)

They gave me the same canned response you got. However I remember it went through much faster than 7-10 business days, it was definitely 5 or less.

This year I asked support to expedite again but I actually had a reason for it. I have someone coming into town in a few days staying on the strip for part of their trip. I booked their rooms on my card for next to nothing with resorts fees waived a few months back. I was like "look I have a stay booked and I want to be diamond the entire time, I don't want to worry about not having it when I check in or out and whether or not they'll waive the resort fees. Can you get the diamond match through a little faster for me so I don't have to sweat?"

They got back to me like within 12 hours saying sure we'll help you out with that just give us your Wyndham number. I sent it to them and within 24 hours after I sent them my Wyndham # I was back to diamond. I was the first person I saw on either here or another Vegas forum I go on to be matched to diamond via Wyndham this year. So i'm pretty sure they actually did push it through.

I would say if you really want to expedite it do what I did and come up with a good reason for it, but the thing is, they could look and see that I actually did have a stay booked, so I don't think the same excuse will work lol. Maybe you can get creative.

EDIT: Also I would be SHOCKED if the desk itself could do anything for ya. You would have to raise quite a stink with the supervisor for that. Like I don't even know if the desk has a way to manually make you diamond if they wanted to. I don't even think they would be able to see you had initiated the match and that it was like "processing" status, the online support is your only hope imo. And I don't think they have a phone number. Could always try calling corporate see if they have anything to say, but again unlikely they even have access to the right systems.

Hard disagree- granted I’ve never not sat at the bar there. Spent hours and hours there drinking top shelf and the bartenders are great. I’ve also been able to get two guests in a couple times with just being diamond. I’m pretty sure I’ve done diamond lounge rankings here before but here’s what I got:

Harrahs- best bar and same bartenders the last decade who make great drinks. Really feels like a hole in the wall place.

Paris- most comfortable bar? High ceilings and a good location right on the casino floor. Accessible from Bally’s/Paris/PH easily. Great drinks and bartenders.

Caesars- kind of a hike to get to it and a small bar but it’s large and has computers and **** to **** around on. Also has lounge chairs and couches if you just want to chill and watch TV




PH- no bar but nice lounge area with a gigantic TV to watch a game



Rio- elevator up and it actually has windows which is nice, also no bar.







Flamingo- (now closed I believe) good riddance

It's in the BFE of Caesars. I went there once but they didn't have any food out yet. I never went back because it didn't seem worth the trek.
