Mine changed I did get a really nice suite in AC comped, hit up 2/3 Diamond Lounges, comedy show, used my Celebration Dinner and hung out with Theo from the Cosby Show.

I did manage to upgrade back to Wyndham Diamond under the wire last night. Should I wait to try to Tier Match back to TR Diamond? Should I put the request in now?

I also upgraded to Rock Royalty at Hard Rock if that will help in anyway. Maybe through a Borgata Tier match if they do that anymore? I used to have Borgata Black but never really played at MGM but I guess I got a card at some point in Vegas.

Or is it my time to transfer over to Founders? I don't have any TR nearby to actually earn diamond like I did before.

I still want Diamond because I still have a ton of RC and room offers left and using the RC for the lounges is clutch, so are no resort fees and room upgrades.

So they downgraded me to Platinum even though I'm certain I earned enough TC based on the prorated numbers for people who status matched intra year. Don't feel like making a big stink or putting in much effort to fix it though since I have FC (just put in the request, says it takes 3 weeks) and will earn 15k 2020 TC by mid feb anyways.

Mine also didn’t upgraded even I earned enough points for diamond. I sent email inquiry today . In 10 minutes I got email that I am correct and they will be upgrading me to diamond. It will take 72 hours to reflect in my account.

It was updated to Diamond online already 😊

Well looks like were good for another year of status matched Diamond. I had lost it this morning but just put my Wyndham # in and looks like it's going to go through.



And I'm also hearing people who match using Founders Cards are already showing as Diamond through 2021.

So if the rumors of cuts to the status matching program are true, it looks like it will be strictly to the casino loyalty status match program.

I got Diamond last year via the Wyndham Diamond match and was just downgraded to Platinum. I plugged in my Wyndham Diamond account number again today and got the same message you got. It looks like I'm back to Caesars Diamond. Crossing fingers it goes through okay...

FWIW, I think I earned enough TC towards the end of 2019 to prorate my Diamond Status as well so I have to fall back on if I need to fight them.

But yeah, it looks like the Wyndham match thingey is still working.

I'm showing Gold which is clearly incorrect because even if there is a lag for the FC upgrade, I should be Platinum for having the credit card. The simple fact is during the 1st few days of the new period you shouldn't panic over what status is showing.

as long as you spent $5K on the card in 2019, they should upgrade to Platinum

if IRC last year it was only a few days, or at most a couple of weeks before status on the website was corrected

Oh I wasnt aware of the 5k min. I'll never be Plat from it then. I only use it for 1 of my monthly auto charges so that my RCs stay active.

I got downgraded to plat then within an hour of talking to them at the desk got diamond good for one more year. They have an issue printing a new card with 2021 dates for some reason and told me to check back in a few days. They extended my 2020 card for the valet.

Just pay for everything with it. Utilities, groceries, gas, cable, etc. Almost everyone takes credit cards these days.

The place I'm thinking of is Ringer and it appears it's still there. The poker room has a comp promo for it. They have pizzas the size of a trash can lid. They say 15 inch, I thought that meant 15 inch diameter. It's 15 inch SLICE, which means 30 inch diameter, damn near a yard!

Don't think it was an issue of how to spend $5K on the TR Visa, just that he probably has better cards to use (higher cash back). I know I do.

I only use the TR Visa when there is an extra enticement (like just this week spend $500, get 1000 bonus tier credits) and just barely met the $5000 spend.

Exactly, I get 2% cash back on citi. Vs 1% comps on TR.

the TR does give 2% on gas,groceries and airlines

Can get way better than that with other cards as well.

4 percent on gas with Costco Visa, 6 on groceries with Amex BCP, and I know there are travel cards worth more than 2 percent but regardless there are cards that are 2 percent on everything anyways.

Regular status matching is also back this year. However it states its for NEW members only? Not sure if they had that qualifier in the past? I don't believe they did as I know they were clear you couldn't status match two years in a row this way, which there would be no need to specify if it was only new members.

Perhaps this was the "rumored" cut to status matching?
