I've been living at Caesars properties since January and I usually just book around a week on the Caesars app (I think you can do up to 14 days at once) then just call the front desk to extend it and they always give me the same discounted rate I get on the app. You can stay for 28 consecutive days then you have to leave for 48 hours before you can stay at a Caesars property again.

I've never been able to make more than 3 reservations at a time. Has anyone noticed if the new ownership changed that?

Unfortunately, even though the weekdays are very cheap, weekends (for me-solely a poker player) are very expensive $250-300 range. My average shoots up to $150 range for September and October.

Mid November till December is pretty cheap as usual.

I learned that calling to get any sort of answer from Caesars is completely worthless about 5 years ago. That's why I check the forums because people here are actually competent.

I've also learned a few years ago that a significant majority of the people working the Caesars rewards desks (which seem to have been phased out and just moved to the cage) are completely worthless for anything related to comps. They never know any of the promos running and whenever they give you information, you need to cross reference it by asking another employee for verification because they don't know the basics of their own job most of the time.

I was wondering how to tier credits from hotel stays work for getting the status, if I'm not a diamond when checking in, but I get enough tier credits from the hotel stay, will I get diamond when checking in, when checking out or sometime much later? Mainly trying to figure out if checking in at non-diamond and getting diamond with the points from the room, will I get resort fees waived at the checkout?

In my experience its takes about 2 weeks for the tier credits from hotel stays to be reflected in your account.

100% true. I always joke how they must only hire people with under an 80 IQ. The supervisors are horrible and can't fix any issues. The "directors" are horrible. The customer relations email in ac area is staffed with morons as well. None of them know a dam thing. In my experience, Ive known more on how to fix issues than they did. I don't know about other businesses but in the casino world, the patrons almost always know more than the casino employees, and this is especially true at Caesar's.

It's 5k. You get 5x, not a "bonus 5x"

Earn a tier credit results in 5 total tier credits, not six.

Edit: Daily tier credits should also get awarded, so earn 5000 tier credits in one day, get 20k bonus for the 5x promo, and 10k bonus for the daily tier credit bonus, or 35k tier credits total.

5k earned gives you a bonus of 20k, which is the max. As another post says, you can also get daily bonuses. If you get 5k in one day or 2.5k each of two days, you'll come out of it playing for 5k, getting 10 in daily bonuses, and 20k in promo bonuses for a total of 35k.

I believe it has, but the saying about investing comes to mind.

The rules say it applies to slots, video poker, and table tables as well as shops and restaurants. I would not assume that means poker will count.

Booked a room at a ceasers property a few weeks ago and now doing a search for the same time period under my account I see the same property has rooms listed for half of what I originally booked at.

When I go to book it says "our records indicate you already have a room booked during this time, you can continue at our best rates" room price has now basically gone way up and does not make sense to change.

If I cancel my current booking, will this message go away and allow me to book at the new lower rate? I would hate to cancel then actually have to book at a higher rate.

Granted it wasn't at Caesars Palace, but I played poker at my local CET property during one such promotion and it counted.

On a related note, I've done the following: Book a CET room for a couple of days before and after the expensive Fri/Sat nights. For instance, Wed/Thu nights at Rio. Then call to book Sun/Mon/Tue at Bally's.

You can't do this online as you need 3 days in between reservations. During the call, I tell them I couldn't book online for some reason. I don't recall if they ever mentioned the required days in between reservations. I let them know of the rates I see online. Last time they quoted me a higher rate (maybe this is the rate without logging in) but offered a lower rate that was very close to what I saw so I accepted it. I get the impression they have some leeway to lower the rates so haggle away!

I rebooked immediately after I cancelled.

Had two nights at Caesars booked (which was the cheapest CET property for Thursday and Friday for some reason) and went to book Saturday and Sunday at PH. The website wouldn't let me because I already had a reservation booked for Saturday (even though I was checking out that day). So I had to call and was given a higher rate than what was online.


I also hate having to call to book as if you are going to rebook then it's an extra hassle.

The system not understanding that "checking out Saturday" <> "having a reservation for Saturday" is so maddening combined with so easily fixable. JFC.
