Yeah, the TR website is not the most polished in the world.

MyTR now shows an expiration date of Jan 31, 2020

Hilarious how it's been that way for years; worst dev team ever.

I don't even bother with the offer codes at all anymore, just go to Book Now at the top, select flex dates, and you get the grid that tells you which hotels have comp nights available throughout the month.

I'm also showing expiration date of Jan. 31 2020, I'm not planning to renew my Founderscard so I'm assuming my status will drop down to Platinum when my Founderscard expires. I was planning on status matching a hotel status to TR Diamond, can I still do that even though I'm already Diamond (need to do the status match in February and my FC expires in May)? :/

Tardi, we don't know how long the status match promo will be going on. If it is going on in May you should be fine.

I just matched my Wyndham status over this morning again and by mid afternoon they updated my account to reflect Caesars Rewards Diamond. All set for 2019!

According to the TR website, the tier match program runs from today through Dec. 31. You have to present your certain-other-casino credentials (not just any hotel) in person at a TR desk, at locations around the country. Even though the matched status will work system-wide, it seems like the match is only set up to work with other-casino status in the area where you request the match. So, e.g., if you're going to match Mlife, do it at a TR desk in Vegas or AC. Just Google "Caesars tier match" or visit this link:

Tier bonus time again. This time they didn't make the same mistake they made last year, and give me Diamond in a Day for earning 2500 tc.

Quote:
10. Daily Tier Credit Bonuses do not count towards this Offer.
It's still a good bonus if you only earn less than 2500 tc.

Vegas only?

If you're talking about the bonus, no it's not Vegas only. There's a list of places that count towards the bonus. There's a link in the email that was sent out.

The thing is, I would be matching with Wyndham (if I remember correctly) and I think this will end in February (or my Wyndham will expire). Maybe I'll just send a message to FC that I want them to end my membership early .

When your Wyndham expires in February match your Caesars Diamond to Wyndham. Then when your Caesars Diamond expires in April you can match back.

I'm planning to stay in a hotel for a few days maybe up to a week while I find an apartment when I get to Vegas in a couple of weeks. I found a couple of really good deals for Caesar's properties and I have a friend who lives in Vegas who's a diamond member. What would be the easiest way to use his diamond card to avoid the resort fees?

There is no real easy way, they are not stupid.
If you want to do this, he has to book the name under his name and has to be physically present to check in, you cannot check in without him even if he puts your name on the reservation, too.
Then of course, assuming he does not gamble during your stay, his future comp offers will also suffer.

Add him to the room ahead of time over the phone. They’ll need his player card number and date of birth as I recall. And then he will have to be there at check in.

So do I get tier points just for gaming or do I get them for staying at the hotel and eating dinner at the restaurants also?

Yes, all 3. If in doubt ask, and always give them your card.

Gift shop, shows, etc, etc.

Thanks for the reply, I just have one more question. I know getting a VISA card won’t gwt me any tier points but am I correct that I’d u get one then it automatically upgrades you to platinum status as long as you use it once? Platinum doesn’t have to pay all the resort fees also correct? Do must people who play the wsop use the Visa card for points? Thanks again for any help.

No tier credits when getting the Visa card, just reward credits.

Also, Platinum pays resort fees (effective for a few years now). Only Diamond and Seven Stars have them waived. Which is one of the reasons why Platinum sucks now!

Oops, I misread the question. You get tier credits for gaming, including poker. You get reward credits, a fancy term for comp dollars, for poker, and hotel stays, gift shop, shows, and some hotel restaurants.

You can also get TCs via some offer codes when booking a room - one was posted last year that offered 1000 TCs/nt

Only consistent benefit for platinum is parking

There’s a couple places where it’s good for a solid line cut too but that’s about it

Hi all,

Been a diamond for many years now. But I got to thinking, a few years back I let my diamond status lapse to platinum one year. Then I got back to diamond status early in the year on my first stay. Besides the diamond celebration dinner, is there any other benefit to letting ur status drop one year then getting back to diamond right away?

You get the Diamond celebration dinner every year. Can you explain how letting it lapse then getting back to Diamond helped you?
