I got the diamond from FC last year, activated just after joining FC in March. Now it shows I could activate the diamond again, but I assume if I let my FC membership expire, it will then remove the diamond status from my total rewards too, anybody have any experience on this?

They do remove it. It's about to happen to me since I'm not renewing FC.

Ok, good to know. I'm still on the fence on renewing, as I'm probably visiting during summer for about 10-12 days and the savings in the resort fees + line skipping would probably be worth it .

the voucher is usually for the cheapest cabin and does not include port charges and taxes.I also am pretty sure it does not cover the per person per day service charges.

If you mean viewing the App and then going online to the TR website to me I see the same offers if you mean something different then let me know? Also everyone who's getting the 1,000 tier credits for the hotel stay they're lucky I would do that in a heartbeat to get Diamond. But I didn't get that offer and the TR Booth and the hosts have no answer for me why I am getting different offers.

Anyone know the deal with Total Rewards Air, more specifically, how I can ever get it? I'd take Total Rewards up on a free flight and rooms in Laughlin for a degen weekend, but it's always "sold out" after I get the flier. Well, this time I got the offer via email, IMMEDIATELY clicked on the link, and it said it was booked up. What's the deal?

In my experience, Caesars typically has very few rooms available at the special rates they advertise through fliers. If you call and complain, they may give you a good deal, but it often depends on your level of play.

I get that re: fliers, the only reason I'm posting now is because it was full after an email promotion that I IMMEDIATELY responded to.

I finally ran into a situation where someone was disseminating info I have an interest in, but not on a website, only facebook. You can't hardly see much on facebook without being a member, so I tried to sign up. They refused me.

Fyi total rewards garbage website doesn't let you book rooms the same day on the desktop site but does on the mobile site.this is way better than having to call up as the rates when you talk to the phone idiots are almost always higher.

I was on the fence too after the hassle last year. They have the website updated to include the benefit this year so I'll probably stay with them. The celebration dinner+resort fees make it a no brainer for me. If I ever came close with tier credits I would probably go the vp route, but I never even get close to Diamond on play alone.

Same. 2 trips/yr makes it continue to be worthwhile in terms of resort fees. I will miss cocktails in the diamond lounge but oh well.

I know this much if you get rooms for say for example 2 or 3 days booked I know you have to wait either 48-72 hours before you can book again. Hope that kinda helps.

Got the offer for the 150,000 free poker tournament at PH in March. Anyone know anything about this, structure, amount of players, etc?

I played it 2 years ago. Day 1 was played shootout style, top 2 advance. It was basically a super turbo sit-n-go. Day 2 went to a normal freezeout. Everyone started with same stack on day 2, and the blinds went up at a more reasonable, but still turboish pace.

I forget the exact numbers, but there were around 700 entrants with 130ish going to dsy 2 (I think arpund 110 actually showed). They decreased the prize pool to around $115,000 because the prize pool is dependent on 1000 registrants. All prizes were paid out in free play vouchers, which you could get for slots or table games (there were some weird stipulations on the table game vouchers). Really top-heavy payouts with lots of tiered payouts, like maybe 30th-60th place all got $500. First was $22,500, I think.

75% of the players had no idea what was going on, even on day 2, so pace was really slow. Posting blinds and collecting antes was a constant struggle. None of the dealers wanted to be there, and it was quite obvious most of the time.

Register Friday if you can if you want choice of day 1 flight. Day 1 lasted around 40 minutes for me, and I can't imagine with that structure any going much more than an hour. Day 2 went around 4 and a half hours.
