Well first time using my Diamond card two free rooms one at the Rio room very good I liked it Next day room at the Linq not so impressed. Got my 100 dollar comp used it at Caesers Buffet food was good but the dam food got to cold to fast from either staying out to long or just getting cold fast either way that diminished the overall dinner. Turned my RC's into Freeplay 435 Free play ran it through 100 hand dueces wild turned out 395 not bad getting free money also same day got my 2 tix for Penn and Teller for middle January. All in all got 400 in Freeplay and 600 in value that I didn't have to spend the freeplay i got will be in my next video just a short video of that.

i was diamond aspiration 1 last year with over 50k tier score i have 0 comped room in vegas for Feb Mar April even weekdays. Caesars made just shy of 25k last year from me. Wow, just thinking of the numbers if rake is 5% capped at $3 that means i won pots totaling over 500 000 last year.... just wow.

i was thinking about that too, but i think for online, you get apps whether you win or lose pot. depends on how much you contributed.

Don’t feel bad. I was Asp 1 in 2017 from live play and I currently have no comped rooms in Vegas for the next few months either. Last year on similar volume I did have offers.

It’s hard to know what the formula is that they use to show room rates. One would think it would be equitable and comparable to one’s value to them, but it doesn’t always seem so.

For live play, whether poker or pit games, they still seem to value average daily volume. So people who do Diamond in a Day will tend to have the best offers. People who live in Vegas and may use the lounge or gym or might just swipe their card to park and earn no TC on some days will have low average daily volume and don’t seem to get good offers.

Maybe they are punishing people that park in a CET garage and don't play there at all? No idea, just guessing.

Steve: Ceasars was one of the last hold out on $4 rake. $5 isnt egregious, but i wish they would move towards a time collection overall. ($68 dollars a hand would be bad, as they do in Macau)

I'm letting my diamond card expire (I was a former FC holder). Vegas poker has just seen a slow decline imo over the last few years. Might go for a holiday weekend, but not for poker anymore. Pure poker, i'm probably shifting to a local casino or Macau.

That said, it's not that there isn't a fit for anyone, but overall costs of vegas trips just are increasingly -EV compared to the sort of action you'd normally find outside the series.

Anyone else get an offer for a chartered plane to Biloxi in February plus 4 nights hotel for $99? Seems a little crazy for me considering I only had about 10,000 TC in 2017.

I got offered one to Laughlin, which is much closer to me in the west.

Got a new email that they are doing 1000 Tier Credits per night. It seems you have to opt into the promotion then you just get it.

Was no code. I just clicked a link and it said any reservations I make will give me the tier credits. You have to opt in to it to get the promotion.

It isn’t clear if this promo is available to everyone though, which just shows how unfair the Diamond acquisition process can be. I guess once they started selling diamond privileges via Founders card that anything goes now.

im not sure about laughlin but i travel to biloxi often for work and its really not worth flying to. tiny casino, meh restaurants and meh buffet. especially not worth it during the winter when there is absolutely nothing going on in town.

The main thing about Laughlin is you can pick up some tc if you need them. You can rent a car if you really want action and drive an hour to Vegas.

Yeah similarly I’d rent a car and drive the hour to New Orleans if I was offered a trip to Biloxi.

Hello everyone. New to board. Read through most of this thread. I've been diamond for maybe 2 years and try to go as often as I can to Vegas. But I got to diamond via a combo of lucky craps and friendly pit bosses. But I just came up 500 tier credits short so expiring in January.

I live close to Louisiana. Disappointed to see all the reductions in quality of the program.

However, I'd like to attempt to video poker for a day this week and just curious if its still lucrative and if you can build up some quick TCs?

I apologize if I missed it in this thread it just looked like a lot was updated, and couldn't find anything more recent via google. Any info appreciated and I'll make sure to report back with my experiences. I'd like to start going often locally and then keep my trips to vegas as cheap as possible. Thank you all.

Vegas it said I could either stay at the Rio or harrahs. Not sure yet if i am gonna do it or not meaning if I can get those days off by that time the offer might be nil. Sorry meant to originally say it wasn't an e-mail it's an offer on the TR app.
