4am-4pm per my CET host.

Vegas CET host? I would call Total Rewards to verify. It was 6 - 6 last time I checked last year.

On that note, out of curiosity, what does it take to get a CET host? I had a trip a couple years ago where I went pretty hard, but not TOO hard, and was surprised to get an email from a CET host. I didn't really follow up, but I play much bigger now and haven't had anyone reach out (which again, wouldn't really surprise except that it's happened before with smaller play).

If you download the TR app it will note if you have a host available.

Outside of that, I have been approached by host in Cherokee a couple times but have not seen them circulate the floor in over a year (then again, the property has the highest % of 7s players, sold out every weekend and no close competition so they don't have to do much). Got a random call last year from a girl that sounded early 20s claiming she was my assigned host, 702 area code, but have not called her for anything since last few stays were comped via website.

Mostly just play poker but mix in Pai Gow/Bacc to have my average bet skewed to look high.

Not that hard to find out for certain, I suppose. Just stick a card in a slot machine at 4:15 and see if the total for the day is zero or not.

It is 6am-6am in Vegas.

Harrah’s Laughlin I believe is 4am-4am.

Could be a weird PH only thing, could be my host is FOS and didn’t feel like finding a real answer, could all be a plot by the Illuminati. Either way if the difference between 4am-6am matters at all to your gambling plans, we would probably be friends.

Not everyone has a 20k line of credit to play from. The first time I did my 2500 tc I played $1 vp single line, started running out of time ~4am iirc and switched to multi-line games with bad paytables so I could finish up before 6 am. Two hours would certainly have mattered to me then.

By about an hour.....pretty solid pattern of gambling until 5:00 am and getting "second dinner" before passing out for a couple of hours.

This is the case about 80% of the time dealing with a host IME.

I really meant that if you’re still gambling at 4 am or 6 am, we would have a good time. Much like HeyPorter, I enjoy the 5 am stagger bets. Not trying To knock anyone there to grind TCs

Off topic, but since there's CET people here....any experience with the Planet Hollywood sports book, specifically VIP? Guys I'm with want to chill and watch games Sunday, and rather than worry about getting up early and heading somewhere with a great sports book, my preference would be to just hang where we're staying if the book is passable. I know "VIP" is only $60pp F&B, which tells me it's nothing special, but can't really find any information online. If it's an actual separate area with nice seating and big ol' TV viewing, that's fine; but if it's just reserved seating with the hoi polloi, eh....

Ive never done it but it seems like a no brainer. You get to roll up at kickoff and have reserved Seating. The cost opportunity of spending $60 vs wasting two hours locking up good seats is lol. Don’t spend your vacation saving seats.

Kind of my thought.

If you’re gambling the night before, ask a bartender/pit boss to reserve you spots without paying for em. If your play doesn’t justify them holding you seats, all they will say is no.

Whoa, I dint know you could get such a perq for only 60 bucks. I thought you had to be a bona fide whale. It would certainly be worth that to prevent a dozen vultures from diving for your seat every time you get up to take a piss.

Anyone know if the great gift wrap up free play is still the kind where they let you reuse the bet until it loses? I.e I put $5FP chip on black, black hits and they pay me $5 then I can replay the $5fp chip

They make you specify which casino at checkout for freeplay, so pick a casino with the best Video Poker pay tables.

Cromwell has 25 cent 9/6 JOB for example. 99.54% payback

I believe that any free bets are ‘good until lost.’

Finally cashed in my $100 dinner at Voodoo steak in the Rio. 12 oz filet, a side, and French onion soup and a soda came to $86. I didn't know they don't add tax on it, otherwise I woulda got a $14 pudding or something. Steak was good, service was slow, and this was on a Sunday.

yea when you have a comp, pay with reward credits etc you USUALLY don't have to pay the tax. I am guessing that's because it's not technically a "sale". some restaurants still make you pay the tax though, they told me they where not directly affiliated with the casino, thats why they had to do it, or something like that.
