has anybody here that got diamond through FC have any problems getting full Diamond benefits-for instance the monthly show tickets, $100 celebration dinner..etc

I haven't tried yet. Maybe Kato will try while he's there this week.

I'll be trying too, gf just joined FC, and we have Vegas trip 4/22. This trip we a specifically avoided staying with CET because they ended the resort fee waiver for Platinum, but we plan on going to a diamond lounge once or twice and possibly a show

I inquired about the $100 celebration dinner, and was not eligible (yet). The TR folks said since I had just become Diamond after 3/1 that it would likely be available 4/1.

does having diamond status automatically entitle you to free/really cheap hotel rooms? i would be using this exclusively at harrahs new orleans and possibly harrahs Biloxi...also do they have anything like this for the BConnected (Boyd properties) emerald card?

While it really depends on how much you travel, and what kind of travel you do-it looks to me that their are ways to maximize the value on the Founders card-for example-you should sign up for both of the rental car programs for the simple benefits from the premier status-(never stand in line at the counter for example)-also the Avis program gives an automatic free weekend rental when you complete the sign up (probably about a $100-150 value if used in Vegas)-Also there is a new bene for a $18 discount on Dollar Shave club-so there are other ways to maximize the value on the card-but I agree that without the Diamond status I won't be renewing the card either

The HotelTonight benefit is good for a one time thing too. You get a $50 credit to start with. After that, you can pretty much write off that app, I think. I've checked prices on there several times already and never see any deals that I can't beat with Priceline. I'll keep checking it, because whatever you spend you get 15% back as a future credit, but so far no good deals. Also, to go along with the rental car thing, you should probably get yourself upgraded to Hilton Gold right away.

If you have a trip planned for then, I would join FC, then if not showing diamond on TR website bring confirmation of FC membership to the TR desk, they might be able to upgrade you then.

When I got the Visa, I wasn't upgraded to Platinum yet,went to the desk and they took care of iy

I think your odds are about 60-70% but mine did take 4 weeks-I think if it hasn't and you called the founders club support before your trip they would probably be able to help

I think it must help speed up the process to have a reservation at a CET property too. I've yet to hear of anyone showing up and not having it in effect. Mine went through in about 2 weeks, I think. I went prepared to show them my diamond status was pending and to try to talk them into just waiving the resort fees. Girls at the Diamond check in had never heard of FC though, luckily it had kicked in just in time.

You can run the math on expectations but it wasn't bad for me. Since I am playing 2 machines and both sides, I can lay if I want or take odds if I want. Since the odds are even money you can make up if a 12 came.

The machine also gives you points for odds. So if I do $100 pass and $100 dont and the point is 10. I can do 300 and 600 odds but it gives me credit for the odds. I'm not sure what the breakdown is but there is no risk there.

The biggest pain playing this way is that one machine will be winning and one will be losing. You need a lot of cash on you to keep feeding the machine that is loosing.

I assume you're also betting continuous come/don't come with odds as well, to earn faster. Well, alternate them during the roll. i.e. on the machine you bet pass line, bet don't come, then come, then don't come, etc... and do the opposite on the don't pass machine. That will keep your intra-machine variance down and you shouldn't have to reload as often.

I noticed something odd about my TC/RC totals...they've gone up slightly about a week and a half after my trip ended. Is that a standard lag to account for the room booking or something?
