I’d be way more likely to vote for him now.

Was supposed to go more times, but I told him to go **** himself.

"Negotiated" as in a written contract, or a verbal agreement?

That might matter from a legal standpoint but shouldn’t matter at all in determining if someone is a POS?

I'm not really trying to decide if he's a POS or not.

I'm mostly curious to see what kind of stunts people will pull. Like my company always ends up negotiating these super nitty super specific contracts and I always wonder if it saves us any net hassle. Because it seems to me some people would have been fine on a handshake contract and others aren't fine even on written contract and not a lot of overlap between the two.

the details exist so that attorneys can spend time and get paid imo

99.9% of the time none of it matters

I once had a client who paid a deposit on a big shoot we we were hired to do (back in the 90s) with a check. On the back of a check was written a new contract, in tiny, printed lettering. I assume she thought if we deposited the check, we were now under the terms of the “new” contract.

Never saw anything like it.

I wanted to end the job right there and then, but my partner wanted to work it out.

We did the job, and she later sued us for causing her to miscarriage a baby.

Fun times.

Unfortunately, that time gets wasted precisely because of the .1%

Same basic reason I have to tell clients about why some of the seemingly asinine regulations exist within the prison system...they exist because of the very small percentage of people that did something stupid and as a result, others suffer (especially with regard to visitation regulations or mail policies).

This is exactly right.

Jerks gonna jerk, no matter what the contract says.

Yeah, that angle got shot way more than people suspected.

Today, not as many paper checks, but variations still exist in ecommerce terms and conditions.

Of course he did. Everyone who votes Republican still voted for him, knowing that the party could send someone else instead of him.

Does it mean that, even if Trump dies, people will still be voting for him?
Why does he even bother with the rallies then?
Why does he even bother still showing up for work?

Uh...what are you trying to say?

Voting for dead Hof means that the county appoints another Republican in his place. Voting for Hof's opponent means the Democrat gets the seat.

.... because rallies is what he seems to enjoy doing, and showing up for work* is something he has always done.

*You might ask what "work" he is showing up to do. To quote the late Paul Powell of Illinois,

"I can smell the meat a-cookin'." and "There's only one thing worse than a defeated politician and that's a broke politician."

In before the "I'd rather be dead than a Democrat" tshirts.
