Back to the 1/2, because it's getting late and I'm too lazy to drive to another game. It's actually pretty ok...several stacks over 700. I'm up a bit here too; maybe I can salvage the day.

I gave upnat the Nugget. Apparently I jacked up my session entries at some point because my tracker ap says I lost 255 but I have about 400 more than I arrived with. Not much of an hourly, but beats losing.

The Nugget in general wasn't really worth the effort. The 2/5 got going, was reg-infested, and between me and 2 regs we broke maybe 5 rec players who sat, and the game broke. If it weren't for them I'd have been stuck on the day.

I think tomorrow might be Ceasar's 2/5 and see how that goes. They had several tables going today, so might not be too hard to find a decent game.

Ok, so I'm struggling to manage the YouTube channel stuff on my phone. I will have a video for each day uploaded soon...will put time aside tomorrow to figure it all out.

Once I get it nailed down I'll beg the nice mods to work with me to get em plugged into the right posts.

I went off-strip earlier for some ayce sushi at Yama Sushi. I'm not a sushi connoissuer, but I thought it was solid, and a good value. I might repeat.

I've been playing 2/5 at Ceasats for a couple hours, going fine. Has a few std. nitty 2/5 regs, no danger. I'm up about 700...hopefully I can continue.

Ok, so this game is where poker games go to die. When the game turns into a thing where the only big pot will be a huge cooler, I quit.

Ended up +620. I met a friend at the poker room and we've just sat down to eat at Gordon Ramsey's pub. More later.

Well, I decided I wasn't done quite yet, so I headed back to the Rio for some 2/5 in the cash room.

They've really put some effort into the space...soft flooring that significantly quiets the place down, and the tables are much nicer, with auto-shufflers and a light around the rail. That last part seems cool at first, but really it just washes out the cards making them harder to read.

Seems like a good game...100% recs.

Funny how they look similar. The top is spinach artichoke dip, and the bottom is in fact french oniom soup.

The Rio game started out good, but I eventually became frustrated with yet another excruciating stretch of hours completely dead. The frustration got the best of me, and my opening ranges became too wide.

That loosening of my opening requirements meant nothing, as I was too card dead even for that. I opened 57dd in mp once, and I 3! 79ss out of the small blind once, and that was it for about 3.5 hours.

The few times I actually had a hand I lost, and had a couple bluffs not get through. Wrapped up the night by flopping a set and losing to a flush. -1600

Today saw lunch at the Peppermill, and now I'msitting in the 2/5 at Resorts World where I'm stuck 600. As I typed this, I raised to 40 to a straddle from the 'I am straddling every hand' guy w KK. I bet every street and he called down w A8 on a J78 7 A board, gg me. -600 in the early going.

So as far as I can remember, this is my poker life in Vegas. I'm playing 2/5 at Resorts World. I'm in for 1500, have about 2600 in front.

I get KK (suits don't matter here) in the HJ, I make it 30 over 2 limpers, button 3! To 95, and we are about 1100 effective. He has the widest 3 bet range by far in the game. It folds to me and I decide to call to bring along what is almost certainly a hand that is well behind. Maybe this is bad? I don't think it's bad to have some calling hands at the top of my range...maybe that's wrong?

Flop is 458 rainbow. I check, he bets 75, I call. The turn is a J that brings a back door diamond draw. I think our ranges are close im this spot...I'm not really sure who has the nut advantage here if I'm being honest, but I'm definitely not folding to a resonable bet.

I check, he bets 225. I call.

River is the KS, giving me top set.at this point I am both certain that I'm good (not literally, but you know...), and also I'm sure there are all sorts of worse hands that will call an overbet jam, so I jam.

He snaps and turns over 67ss for the flopped nuts.

So ultra frustrating. It's not that I had KK cracked, it's that yet again, the river has to improve me so dramatically that I suddenly am compelled t9 put more/all the money in. This has happened on a smaller scale maybe 7 or 8 times since I got here.

I'm not saying that if it weren't for luck I'd win every time by any means...but variance has been a cruel vacation-ruining ***** to me on many a Vegas Trip.

I took a deep breath and walked around...an back at it w my mind right. I am dedicated to the idea that I will not let tilty emotions get to me today.
