It would certainly be pretty baller to be walking around Vegas with $10k wads sticking out of each back jeans pocket!

Did I read right, that the poker rooms don't provide cash accounts for their players? Isn't there at least one place to deposit my roll?

Chase and Bank of America have lots of branches in Vegas. If one of these is near where you live, then your problem is solved. But you'll have to get to the branch in Vegas, so you may need a car (or cab/uber ride), as there are none on or near the Strip (or Rio).

Of course the main advantage is that you don't have to carry a large sum and risk getting mugged or losing it, either when traveling or when in Vegas.

I don't understand how every man on the planet is NOT wearing a Man-bag (get your terminology right dammit!) at this point in time. I don't carry anything with me anything beyond the necessities, but when I head out for the day I need my:

Wallet
Key ring w/ about a dozen keys on it
Car key fob
cell phone
contact lens case
re-wetting drops (end of day I get dry itchy eyes)
thumb drive
sunglasses
420 vape pen
Small bottle of hand sanitizer (I realize one could argue that this is not a necessity, but I'm a bit of a germaphobe)

Tell me--how the hell am I supposed to fit all the above comfortably in my pockets?

Oh, AND you expect me to stuff an additional 10-15K into my pockets when I go to Vegas to gambool?? You're nuckin' futs... Maybe some of you aren't self-confident / comfortable enough in your manhood to rock a man-bag (admittedly I did go out of my way to buy a very masculine-looking leather man-bags) but I don't know of any other reasonable alternative. No way I'm gonna' stuff all that **** in my pockets...

Bank of America on Spring Mountain Rd is .8 miles from Rio back entrance. Always get my cash from that branch, very friendly mainly Asian staff and patrons, lets of big cash transactions, never had a problem.

Easy 16 min walk early in the day, cheap uber back.

First of all, why do you "need" a wallet? A money clip FTW!

Secondly, and more importantly, wtf do you need a dozen keys for? If I added up all the houses, condos, offices, safe deposit boxes, and other things that I needed keys for over the past decade, the cumulative total still wouldn't be more than 12. And you're saying that you have to be prepared to lock and/or unlock 12 different items on any one day?

Forgive me if I wasn't clear in the OP. I never mentioned size, only that I wondered if showing that much cash to the TSA would be (with some probability) a cause of trouble. The consensus seems to be: probably not.

I'd argue most people do, but they have the self awareness to recognize that the stuff they haul around is crap.

Given that other thread about the forfeiture of assets, it seems at least worth asking these kinds of questions. Though going through TSA on the way to Vegas is different from driving a rental car with out of state plates through Iowa.
