Thanks. It's tough, but I'm just trying to take it one day at a time.

Maybe Fox News will create a new channel and pick up all the disenfranchised programming.

At Wynn: His bathroom had an extra roll of TP with a black sleeve with white lettering around it. The sleeve read: “Emergency Backup”.
Better than Flamingo.
Arnold Snyder, lol.

A number of years ago he tried calling out Sklansky, of all people, on poker theory. Snyder was of the opinion that each individual tournament chip in his stack increased in value as the size of his stack increased. He and his wife were so adamant about it that if someone posted a different opinion on his website they were attacked by wifey and their post was removed.

Now he sees commies under the bed. Sad to see his mental state has deteriorated so much.

The 1st one is Bellagio poker opening tomorrow at 10am and the 2nd is Circa is opening everything but the hotel on October 28th. And then the hotel soon after.

Sometimes the twitter videos don't play when I use explorer but do when I use chrome, but sometimes 2+2 bogs down on chrome for some reason.

Assuming twitter pics work for you, Circa is downtown and is owned by Derek Stevens that owns The D and Golden gate. It will have the biggest sports book in the world. 5 Stories.

with Bellagio setting the 6 max precedent, I expect all the casinos to follow suit. Opening the door for 7-8 max within a month, 9 max in the near future. on this timeline WSOP feels like a lock.

how would they got special permission to have more players than all the other places in NV? and guess what happened here in Houston when all the rooms went to 9 max (one 10) and one thats 8, that used to be 6 max or 7 max? the virus hospitalization rate went way up. the proper number of players is between 5 and 7 somewhere. more is too many, less is too few. ive tried like hell to get rooms here to quit putting so many to a table but no one listens to me. they listen to the rich fish buying in deep, not me with my $100. and those rich fish are big time nits about playing without what they consider "a full table"

its getting so bad here the city is seriously thinking of shutting back down

Perhaps Bellagio got gaming board permission for 6 handed by installing the plastic barriers between seats. (Not that these are proven to contain spread)

Have any rooms that have opened thus far done this?

The new rules from gaming came out today for all table and card games. You must wear a face mask unless there is plexiglass/partition, etc.

masks not optional in LV casinos now?

I think its just for table games and poker, if no partitions then mask required while playing.

That is not what I thought it said:

"Licensees must require patrons to wear face coverings at table and card games if there is no barrier, partition, or shield between the dealer and each player. "

https://gaming.nv.gov/modules/showdo...cumentid=16837

It may need clarification ? Is there a barrier between the dealer and each player ? (Is the dealer behind a barrier as to each player ?)

Given a choice, would poker players prefer sitting behind barriers or wearing a mask ? It seems likely that a poker room can do some A/B testing to find out, were they so inclined.

I think Bellagio is the 1st to have the plexiglass in poker for Las Vegas, I'm not sure what Caesars is doing. But any of the poker plexiglass pics I have seen, have a barrier between all players and the dealer(seat 1 and normally 9/10).

I think its set up the same for BJ.

Barrier only needed between dealer and player on the 2 seats next to the dealer.

I see.

Anything on how the # of players was boosted from 5 max, reportedly ?

An operator could submit an alternative plan to increase the number of players allowed:

"Plans must limit the number of patrons based on type of game to ensure proper distance between players by limiting the number of seats or betting positions per table, or licensees may submit alternative plans for approval by the Board. "

https://gaming.nv.gov/modules/showdo...cumentid=16731

Fwiw, I think people underestimate how difficult the regulatory process is in matters like this, Nevada Gaming generally strikes a consensus among the industry interest holders in promulgating policy. I am sure the process here was complicated, with some give and take among operators. There might be product differentiation ? What SouthPoint will do, as it has no plexiglass, 5 max tables in operation, will be interesting. It could require masks, and if barriers are between the dealer and the next seats, propose a player # increase without added plexiglass ... 6 max might maximize revenue, with masks, perhaps ?

Similarly, it is safe to expect Caesars is angling toward an MTT proposal to allow for the WSOP live at some point, unless it has thrown in the WSOP towel in favor of GG Poker (.... nice move, Hilly).
