I think once there is a vaccine things will be back to normal. The question is how long will it take?

Walmart has had wipes next to the door for years. Of course these days the dispenser is always empty.

If you want a good idea on how long this will take, watch this Trevor Noah interview with Bill Gates from the Daily Show last week.

tl;dw: it's gonna be a while and things will likely never be the same...

He's spent billions all over the world on various health programs. This is what he thinks about all the time and like you said he's pretty smart. He stepped down as Microsoft CEO in 2000 so for the last 20 years this kind of stuff has been his main focus.

Plus he probably has a good grasp of crunching data, which he thinks will speed along selection of various compunds as potential for creating a vaccine and running testing models .... or so I thpught I heard him say on a different show.

,...... but, hey, probably does not have the amazing , beautiful, just perfect skill set of the President in medical research and development

I'm guessing if Bill Gates was Governor, the state of New York would have a stockpile of ventilators right now.

I mostly go to smiths and albertsons, have never seen a person at Smiths wiping/handing out carts since this started happening but albertsons always has someone. Ive gone to both about 3 times in the past 3 weeks. Smiths was pretty stocked on everything except toilet paper and albertsons literally looks like they are going out of business all the shelves are empty

When Vegas gets the go ahead to return to action.......

-blackjack will have someone at first base and third base. Two person max at a table
-roulette may have a three person max
-poker may be five person max per table
-nightclubs and buffets will be non existent
-pools may have a max number of guests

When we get the vaccine everything will be full go. I’ll say spring 2021 maybe everything gets back to normal

Before you derisively dismiss Bill Gates, you may want to take a look at this short video from 2015, where he not only predicted this pandemic, he told us exactly how we should have prepared for it.

Trevor Noah is the interviewer, and Bill Gates actually is a giant in the medical field. He's been working on public health issues for decades and established the Bill & Melinda Gates Medical Research Institute, a biotechnology non-profit.

Watch Dirty Dining and eating anywhere can seem disgusting, not just buffets. These two places were shut down because of problems with rats, including having rat droppings and urine all over the kitchen.

There is no guarantee that scientists will ever be able to develop a vaccine for this virus.

Scientists haven't been able to develop a vaccine for HIV after almost 40 years.

There are vaccines for many flu variants already. Is HIV a flu variant?
