I've seen a kid run around and dip his finger in every dish at those buffets. They've always been a no go.

I saw a video recently of old man grabbing the serving spoon on buffet(in line) and eating a bite off it and putting it back in the food.

I was just salivating after I finished watching around 10 videos on YouTube about the best buffets in Las Vegas. And then I run across this thread. Ugh
I'll never look at a buffet the same again.

Naked hooker hand sanitizer wrestling?

Messing with Vegas hookers and worrying about corona is like tap dancing in a minefield and worrying that you should give up smoking.

Oh boy, I can still use my Paris free buffet tickets!

And at those MGM places I guess going on Saturday should be fine.

If you've ever been in that place you know the sanitizer needs to go in places other than hands...

Sniffles are a good sign, it's not a symptom of corona.

Actually now might be the best time to go if business is low. I’d rather be in one of those buffets when there are fewer people in there than when they are busier.

"Caesars buffets remain open and we are incorporating cleaning and hygiene protocols into the buffets as well as the rest of our operations across the company."

At least they will start using cleaning and hygiene protocols now. lol

Buffets will now promote a buffet butler or buffet concierge
who will physically put the food on plates at your beckon call.

It’s 745pm. Aria has zero 2/5 games and only 5 games total. Ghost town.

So the people that pick out your groceries and deliver them to you aren't coughing on or handling what you eat? Same for the people who handle your Walmart or Amazon orders? Even if you buy pre- packaged sandwich meat, someone had to touch it or potentially cough on it while it was being packaged.

And am really interested in the Vegas specific response to how they respond when their economy is built around large amounts of people visiting from around the globe. Business has been good and the pencil pushers have been squeezing every nickel and dime out of us they can.

Free rooms with no resort fees and who knows how much free casino play and dining credits should be hitting my inbox soon. I love Vegas but a good dose of reality was needed. The days of me going to Vegas 2-4 times a year and "spending" 5K are long gone.

Wonder which strip casinos are going to start advertising 100x odds on craps first? Maybe I can get a free voucher for the $5.99 prime rib dinner just for touching the dice. I can only dream.

I am not concerned with the packages being handled by them, as I put everything away and then wash my hands. I wouldn't order potato salad anymore for example. Anything else would have been packed days before. I mean bread is the only thing and I am guessing a machine does most of that.

I got Amazon orders recently and just get rid of the box and then wash my hands.

Bravo says 8 tables at 9:45 with one 2/5 game and four 1/3 tables. I think the fact that it’s Tuesday night, March Madness isn’t quite here yet and Venetian has a promotion with $9 rake and 18 tables going has something to do with it too (in addition to fears of the virus).
