Do you not see the post right above the Flamingo post? lol

Or are you using Tapa and it doesn't let you see the tweets?

Off a big holiday weekend, totally expect a little bump and upon opening businesses and casinos in the next week there will be a bit of a spike. That would happen even if you waited 3 months to open anyway.

It was almost 3 weeks ago and things do change fast. Also Vital posts a lot of rumors and some don't work out but a lot do. I like hearing early rumors even if they only have 40 or 50% chance of being true.

Vital Vegas sources are very often bullshit, and that tweet in particular was pretty thoroughly debunked when it first came out.

I got so sick of my friends bringing up that stupid tweet like it was fact.

There was a lot of misinformation re: opening dates; I saw one that said Sahara's was late 2021. They're opening next week.

Seems weird to open the Linq promenade but leave the Linq closed. They should at least open the casino and leave the hotel closed.

Are they permitted to operate a casino without an associated hotel?

ignoring the health and only looking at the economic impact of the protest:

are culinary union employees currently getting paid to not work, so they are protesting to keep getting paid to not work?

or are their members not getting paid, and they are protesting to continue not being paid?

Random thought. If a restaurant was totally shut down for the last three months, I'm going to avoid it for at least a week or two after reopening.

No assurance that they aren't using up food that has been in the freezer for the last three months or if they are running on all fresh inventory. Why chance it?

That's your worry ? Not some that patron or cook or server coughing on you or your food ?
I can't speak to what restaurants you frequented, but more than A few dpnated unused food to places like Three Square, just more of it than in the normal course.

So who else is going underground on June 4th?

I'm guessing by July 4th we will know the long term effects.
