Saw something strange today even though Nevada is an open carry state, this woman with her baby in the stroller carrying a gun.

White women. I do a lot of walking around my neighborhood sometimes at night. When I see someone walking down the street the people that scare me the most are actually housewife Karen types. Always afraid there going to feel threatened and pull out the mace or worst.

Did you actually see a baby? Not willing to assume anything, in this town.

I'm 100% serious here. Let me put some context here. In my current working from home COVID state where I'm a bit scruffy looking and haven't had a haircut in like 6 months and have been growing a beard. I look like Michael Landon and Victor French from Highway to Heaven had a love child who also spent a little too much time working on there golf tan. Even though I live in a modest townhome it's adjacent to very affluent neighborhood of multi million dollar homes where I take my walks. I've had more than a few dirty looks from my WASPy neighbors in particular women walking alone. I try to keep to my distance from everyone these days but will make even more of a point to cross the street and avoid lone women who act the most threatened.

I think I'm much more likely to physically harmed in my neighborhood by one of these neighbors particularly women who feel threatened than by some random young minority or other stereotypical villain.

I went to coworkers house a couple of months back. When I rang the doorbell it took forever for someone to answer the door. When my buddy finally answered he told he was in the backyard and that his wife thought I was some homeless guy from how I looked in there doorbell camera. A day later he sent me an article with a picture of a homeless guy that got run over and a blurry snapshot of me from the doorbell cam. There was an odd resemblance.

Article clipping of homeless man.

I guess they would be dancing with masks (if they are even there). Casinos have been going in the direction of getting rid of them so I doubt they will come back.

Looks like they're now playing 1/3 at Ballys. Im curious what the PSJ drop is.

Also, has anyone eaten at Burger Brasserie? You get a free entree per 4 hours, twice a day. I think I'll dedicate a day to them before too long.

Caesars also recently switched to 1/3. It was packed all day today. Played 2/5, not a super soft lineup but at least there were chips going in the pot! There were 4 2/5s and a 5/10. I might be done with Bellagio for awhile, even though Ive really come to hate the CET experience.

I am assuming none of these are firm dates and they are waiting word from the governor. Any locals with a better idea of when that word is coming? I saw that Opium is making similar changes. Le Rêve permanently closed this week
Absinthe is opening on 10/28!
