And yes it would be the swab up the nose once a week.

I took a swab test administered by my Doctor but his was a swab at the back of the throat so not quite as bad. Came back negative to the virus but it took freakin Quest 8 days to turn it around. Pretty worthless.

Wonder how much those Abbot machines cost. It might be cheaper for someone like Quest to just buy or rent one considering it only takes one person to run it.

I thought Abbot referred to the brand of test, is there a special machine to read the tests ?

Quest is a lab, not a medical facility ; they do not want to offer that Covid testing at their various general offices, nor handle the test samples .... They apparently will accept swabs from doctors at some central location, but not the general public. (I was told there is some home-testing kit available btw. Nor sure who ofeers or processes the tests)

Quest does offer sero antibodies testing, as does LabCorp. Blood they seem comfortable with handling.

wasn't venetian up to $9/hand right before this all started. I'm wondering if reduced means reduced from normal rake, or reduced from their previously insane level.

(im lumping jackpot/rake together here as same drop - might be relevant as to whether they are changing jackpot drop also)

It’s not clear what “take care of casino visitors” means. I’m Canadian, so needing hospitalization, as unlikely as that would be, is free back home.

But I cannot imagine travel insurance covering such costs if something happens in the US.

has nothing to do with price. they are just counting number of beds and guessing at how many might be required.

Governor says on track for casinos to open June 4th.

So Phase 2 needed for the casinos?

Boo, no strip joints or brothels. Or nightclubs. I suspect early visitors will have a lot of stuff to themselves. To many out-of-towners, Vegas ain't Vegas w/out that stuff.

Derek Stevens did a promo where he gave away 1000 Free 1 way flights to Las Vegas and it sold out in a couple hours. He said he is doing more today but still shows all full. You didn't even have to book hotel with him.

These guys are probably all keeping their spas and gyms closed? Big discount off the resort fees, right?

That makes sense given that Caesars is having poker.

You hear anything about if the Orleans will have poker?
