Free Parking! No mention of Poker.

"Live entertainment, bars, spas, buffets and valet parking will not be included in the immediate reopening plans.

The company did note it will be suspending fees for paid self-parking in Las Vegas."

The stadium tax is rolled into the sales tax on the room and not the resort fee.

Caesars Entertainment just confirmed on twitter:
"Live poker will be available with the following social distancing guidelines"

guidelines don't say much about poker, just the 4 max rule from the state.

The problem is you will be staying at the Sahara.... The uber and lyft costs will be the same each day as the resort fee you aren't paying.

Plus, did I mention you will be staying at the Sahara?

I was just throwing that out in case anyone was interested. You can walk to Wynn in what 10 minutes? Monorail is an option also right? They did spend Millions on remodel of casino and rooms. Maybe not too bad now. The casino is nice now.

Also I don't need a hotel anymore but resort fees are like $45 plus tax or something crazy. Isn't uber only like $10 each way for short like Sahara to center strip?

It's an over 20 minute walk from Sahara to Encore. There's no poker at Wynn/Encore though so I'm not sure how that helps people here.

I've never ridden the monorail but I would have to imagine that is a big plus.

The monorail is sloooooooooooow. They really missed the ball on that project. Slow speeds, stops far away from casino floors, etc. Could have been so great but instead wasted countless millions.

Not to mention, the monorail does not go to or from the airport

Taxi/Limo Unions fought hard for that no doubt. Imagine if they had an efficient rail system that went from the airport, crossed the street at Mandalay Bay, crossed again at MGM, then went downtown with the possibility of more stops in between as new casinos open up? Naw, that would be too convenient.

Gotta keep that longhaul through the tunnel and down the freeway into rush hour traffic running at all costs! It’s the fastest way to the strip!

Taxi/Limo unions ? You have no idea what you are talking about .... stop the knee-jerk "blame it on unions" clap trap.

It was the taxi companies that fought it, at the time 4 guys controlled 90% of the taxis in town. (Also, since the monorail served only the east side of the Strip, some hotel operators weren't really happy either.)

Isn’t it fixed rate from airport to strip hotels now?

So many metro areas have been bullied to not provide efficient transportation from their major airports. It's so transparent but pols distract voters with other nonsense.
