the plan is to book a week in vegas(christmas week) becuase rooms are cheap.

- Better variety & availability in the Hooker pool
- Shorter lines in dispensories
- Degen Regs still there (plenty)
- Smaller Donkament fields
- Kiss minigolf not as crowded
- Christmas discounts all over the jawn

Christmas week +EV IMHO

Still lots of people in Vegas, it's just not full. People do T-day for the family thing at home, it's not unusual for Christians to do Vegas for Christmas.

Incidently, there is really no such thing as a "race." The term "race" implies to most people that there are different categories of human beings based on their genetic makeup. The fact is that there is no basis in genetics for these distinctions. For example, an African from one family may have more in common genetically with a Swede than with another African.

If you want to play no higher than 2/5 it's prolly no issue, and the closer you get to NYE the more action there will be. Even for higher stakes you could be lucky and see good games

The Las Vegas Bowl got snowed on pretty hard several years ago. I had tickets because my team was playing, but I had a cold and figured that sitting 4 hours in the snow would be bad for it so I had to watch on tv.

"Cold" is relative and people have different opinions about short-weather. I usually wear shorts from April until the first hard freeze of the year and then switch to long pants for the winter. I don't mind wearing shorts in the mid-high 30s, but that's personal preference.

If you are like most people and wear long pants if it's below 60-70, Vegas winter isn't shorts weather for you. At least not in the morning and at night.

FWIW, I start wearing jackets before wearing long pants.

Do you need to pack your bag now or can you wait until the night before your trip to look at the forecast and decide what you are bringing? Unless you are the fat guy who needs to wear shorts even with snow on the ground, it probably won't be hot enough to make you regret wearing pants.
