Hey guys I'm gonna go to Vegas for three weeks on the 21st. What's a cheap place to stay during the holidays? Airbnb options aren't looking good and hotels are looking a little expensive not surprisingly. I stayed at a weekly apartment when I was here during the summer should I try to do that again? I don't need anything fancy just as long as it's safe and close to the strip.

Flight and car are booked already, just need to find a place to stay until Jan 3rd, after which Total Rewards is offering me super cheap rooms so I'll stay on the strip during my last week.

Your best chance of getting a non-assrape price is to wait until the last minute. NYE prices usually come down a bit then. No guarantee though, so you get to gamble before you even leave home.

Sounds like a fun game of Hotel Roulette. At least he'll have many hotels to last-minute call.

Americana apartments. $245 a week or about $950 per month. Less sketchy than people said it was asides from these random dudes trying to sell me drugs on my way back from taking the garbage out.

I would go back there for two weeks then stay on the Strip after the price goes down but the only problems are it's not fully furnished (I'd have to buy a comforter/pillow/blanket then abandon them again) and also availability isn't guaranteed.

Yup, I've played it often. One time I lost and I had to stay out in Primm in a huge dump.
