i enjoyed my time in the area around the strat, right across from the hostel. being EL cheapo macgee i booked 2 nights at the hostel and wound up in sweaty multiple Brazillian snoring hell. I couldn't take it, the bottom bunk bed, the shirtless brazillians, the frathouse bathroom.
Being chepo macGee, however , I took my sleeping bag into the courtyard and slept in the picnic table. it got a little cold at night, but it was alot better than not sleeping all night in a setup that could have been the setup for a ghey pron movie... better safe then sorry and with anal integrity still 100% i booked a room at the aztec? across the street. 99 a week. Thats living life in the fasto lanes bro heim. Share you wine with a homeless vet with a handshake like a vise. Look into his crazy sunburnt skin and wild eyes and thank him for his company by splitting the bottle with him and he wont LIP the bottle out of bum common courtesy. If you really want to live the HIGH ROLLIN mac man style, buy him a buffet at the strat and see who can eat more. (bring a flask) let him wash up in your room or just give it to him on the way out of town. i paid for 2 beds and one vietnam vets snores alot less than 7 brazillians. 99 a week, cant be beat and you will be paying it forward to when you are a grizzled desert dweller when bit coins crash the economy and only chinese speakerrs can own property in the usa becuase they foreclosed on the country right after their saudi buddis pull all of their equity out of the dow jones
