I've seen more than my share of plastic on rental cars...the crappier the company, the more likely it is that the models are base. In some cases, fleet is even worse than the base you would buy at a dealership if you were trying to go cheap...
Anyone renting from a cheap rental unit looking at a Challenger is hopefully NOT expecting to get a decent car. Expect the most base version and you won't be disappointed. If they expect any of the SRT variants, yeah...disappointment city.
Expectations go up a little if someone was renting from, say, National and was Executive or higher. There, one DOES have a chance of getting something unusual in terms of options that don't typically appear on the fleet lots.
For OP (or anyone else) looking at what might actually exist at ANY airport, FlyerTalk has a lot of good discussions that include recent inventories at a number of the major airports for each of the rental companies.
