I haven't been to vegas since 2012. Back when i was there, i played mostly low stakes at wynn and caesars for a few months before i left. Even though i played low stakes, i recall the floor ppl remember me and know my name because i played there a lot. Im curious but would it be safe to assume lot of the floorpeople and dealers and players there back then probably aren't there anymore?


Also i assume its fine to ask about certain ppl whether they are floorman or dealers etc if i just give them a description and not their name? Almost all, ii don't remember their name as its been a while. This was around Fall of 2012 or so.



Wynn- I recalled back when i went to the wynn, there was almost always 2 people who were there at the podium where you sign up to be put on list.



One was a pretty young guy, i guess late early 30s who was pretty tall. He sort of looked like that young guy from the Office except he had dark hair.



Also there was a lady that worked at the podium as well... middle age and brunette and very friendly i recalled. She sometimes even played 1/3nl at the wynn. I don't have a clue or remember their names anymore. I assume she no longer works there anymore?



There was this Asian guy i recalled who i kept hearing people call Jacky. This guy always seem to play 5/10nl or whatever is the highest game and i heard ppl say his name a lot at the poker room. I assume this guy no longer plays there? Was he some high stakes high roller or something? I recall he would buy in very deep at 5/10.



Cowboy Guy with Dice- This guy i seen a lot play at the wynn back then when i was there. He had a cowboy jacket, hat... also cowboy boots as well. But he had dice that he rolled... he would say things like okay if i roll a certain number, i call or fold. Of course i knew this was like an act. But is that guy still there?

Caesars- The lady who worked at the podium was filipina i recalled. She was middle age. She was there most of the time. I don't remember her name anymore. I assume she is no longer there?


There was this Asian dealer that always made jokes. He is middle age and wore glasses. He made jokes like Hawaii 5 0 etc. I recalled i played with him few times at the wynn when he wasn't dealing.



Does anyone know if any of these floor people or dealer or characters are still in vegas now? Cowboy Guy with Dice.... That's Dane or "Yoyo" Great guy, I saw him not long ago.

Must have been around 2013-2016 some bastard came into Wynn poker, got his son to play who was underage but was fully bald with a thick beard. Looked very old. It was a scam, his dad tried to get some money out of the Wynn for it. I think all the floor people and supervisors working that shift lost their job

I played a lot with Jackie in 2008-2010. Back then the 2/5 game was uncapped and I was playing and drinking with a buddy, each about 1K effective.

Jackie comes and sits down with 10K and half drunkenly my buddy jokes, “Wow man, that’s quite a 2/5 buyin.” Jackie just blank faced replies, “I play my stack, you play yours.”

Turns out every dollar of Jackie's 2000bb buyin was in play at all times, and he was a pretty funny guy.

Hey, yes Charley sounds like his name. I don't recall what it was but that certainly comes close i recall. He's in his late 30s now right? I believe back in 2012 or so, he probably was early 30s? I thought he could been in late 20s as well because he looked pretty young. What casino is he at now?


Yea... the yoyo rings a bell. That is exactly whom im talking about. Where does he play at? Does he still play at wynn? Does he play 1/3 or 2/5? Back then i recalled he mostly played 1/3 and few times i was at his table, he always rolled the dice.


Who was Jackie by the way? Was he some big high roller? I always saw him whenever there was a 5/10 and up etc. I heard his name a lot in the wynn poker room whenever i was there. I only played 1/3 when i was there, but when he was there, he always played 5/10+. I never spoke to him or any of those players who play 5/10 but it was always interesting taking a look at that table as sometimes they had it at the higher part of the wynn... but sometimes it would be right in the middle when there were tournaments going on.



Also i recalled in that 5/10, there was always this one old guy with a Cowboy hat... he was pretty old. He seemed to be a reg for some reason. Either that or a rich recreational? Do you or anyone know who im talking about? This was around late 2012 or so. I always wondered who is this older gentleman with a cowboy hate always at the 5/10 at wynn.


Im not surprised you guys know about that cowboy guy with dice as its hard to not notice him. He plays full time right?

What about the odd looking albino-like couple at The Venetian.

But my favorite is the professional boxer girl that often plays at The Mirage.

If you watched the Main Event a few years back you would remember this guy referred to as the greatest dealer ever.

My recollection tells me he was known as Shawn the Dealer. This is him dealing my cash table at Caesars a couple of years ago. A super nice guy

Is Toy Man still around? Used to see him at the old TI room and played a tourney with him at V. Guess he used to annoy some people but I didn't mind him.

There are 7 years range so the chance of people who played then to play now is low.

With all the hoodies worn at the poker tables nowadays, it became harder and harder for Teddy to ice people anymore.

Thought I read somewhere on here that he himself was froze by the police at the poker table, and hauled away in cuffs some time ago.

Iceman has been a lot harder to spot since he lost a significant amount of weight. Good for him. I used to be able to spot him easily but when he lost a lot of weight he didn’t stand out from the crowd as much.

How could i forget talking about the iceman. I saw him back then at venetian. He kept walking around his those big headphones. Also i recall he was dropping a mix tape or something and said something about that.


Did he ever offered you guys a mixtape or said something about that? I know he did that at the venetian when i saw him.

Was at TGI Fridays at Orleans around 2 months ago with my girlfriend and her sister grabbing a bite to eat. We were sitting in the booths where you can see out into the casino, where the bank of slot machines leads you directly to the poker room.

My girlfriend's sister who knows absolutely nothing about poker or poker players suddenly says "whoa... check out this guy with the ICE chain". I instantly knew we had an Iceman sighting.

Sure enough, she was frozen and didn't even know it yet. Teddy went strolling by rocking the following chain:

I recall years ago someone asked me what he did for a living and i heard him say something like some business but i don't recall.

OMG. I played with this guy (or someone extremely similar -- cowboy outfit, dice and all at the Wynn) years ago. Have no idea what his name is. Crazy player, though. Won a ton off of him Only played there that one night with him because our flight was cancelled so stayed near the Wynn. Haven't seen him since, but I don't play there often.
