Many times the later games are better - bigger stacks (for the survivors at least); the players who drink have "got on the outside of" more alcohol; everyone there seems more ready to VPIP...

... when Honey and I are there together she prefers me to come back to the condo before 2 am, but when I am there by myself I like the late night card room action better...

Quick question. For the cash games that are in the Ballrooms at the Rio, can you still log in to Bravo and if you are a Caesars Rewards member, do you earn tier credits for play in there?

I asked earlier and someone said the brush swipes you in at the podium and you have to remember to swipe out when you leave. They are powering a lot of the tables this year because they'll have shufflers, so it's possible they'll run data cables and have Bravo too but I doubt it.

Back to the question, I've been informed by a fellow Brit (I'm UK based) that the poker rooms do not call English cell numbers.

This could cause quite a headache, as I don't want to be waiting in the same room for hours on end for a seat.

Is that the case and if so, do you think it's worth getting a burner phone just for my time in Vegas?

Sounds right. I’m not even sure if they could call an international number if they wanted to (aka if you tipped them). My wife had to ask T-Mobile to enable outgoing international calls on her phone so she could call my EU number when I am traveling.

If you have a US address that you can use, signing up for a month of MetroPCS is $30 for a month plus $30-50 for a cheap phone that you can use again next time you come.

It really is not that bad, just call and get on the list 1 hoir prior. Most rooms are moving so many people the list goes pretty good. The B has a bunch of tables out in the sports book and Aria has more tables set up also.when u get there check in and it does not take long

Wsop has started?? Only few tables going last night on bravo. One today. I will be there June 10th. Hopefully it will pick up by then. I thought I would really be able to work on my table selection.

It's day one- the casino employee event and a $10,000 turbo. Those tournaments aren't going to draw big numbers from out of town.

Cash games at the Rio (and everywhere else) will get rolling this weekend.

Are cash tables hand shuffled? If so, does that mean that Bravo doesn't reflect all the games running? Right now, it shows only two 1/2NL tables Thursday morning.

sounds about right for 7am on the second day. it will pick up as the day wears on. you can be assured of that.

It was fairly busy last night, except for King's room, which was empty. Feel sorry for the dedicated cashier.

If it was like prior years, no Bravo on the tales. Someone manually updates Bravo. If they're in the mood.

Love the slip calling it The gorilla mistakes area, I might have to use that when I'm there.

But yea I can confirm they have shufflers and usb ports.

I played there the first night the cash games ran and they had 10/20 o8, 20/40 o8 and mixed in there for sure.

This weekend has been rough since they haven't had the tables to run much cash games during the big 50 mtt.

It's only when the games are in the kings room. Still absurd. It was normal rake in there on Thursday when I came to play on Sat I just left those chairs are almost worth it tho. Took 25 min to get chips from thurs cashed with zero line.

It was 10% 5 max rake on the 1/3 in kings lounge yesterday. Glad I didn't show up there today 12/half works out to roughly double. Supply and demand I suppose. Better off playing on the Strip.
