Elara and PH share the self-parking garage for the Miracle Mile shops. At the moment, it is still free

I give free parking for locals at Caesars about a year.

I believe they stated (or implied) that locals would be free during the initial rollout and it wouldn't be a permanent thing.

As a local I don't think I could ever justify going to a CET property and paying for parking if they started doing that. Their properties are 2nd tier at best.

If charging locals works for MGM then I'd be shocked if Caesars doesn't do it.

Who will start to charge for parking first, Fashion Show Mall or Miracle Mile Mall?

I wonder if they'll offer validation for customers.

How bad of a walk is it from this lot to Bellagio? 10 minutes?

8-12 minutes sounds reasonable, depending on where you want to go. The walk from the garage to the Bellagio fountain is probably shorter than the walk from the fountain to the poker room.

It's behind the Miracle Mile mall, from the perspective of the Bellagio. That mall is a circular mile, so it's a half mile of walking just to the back of the PHo casino, then across the Strip, then there's a people mover (if it's not broken) that takes you to the Bellagio. It might be quicker to find your way to the street (Harmon) then up to the sidewalk.

I think (not sure) that Miracle Mile owns the garage, not CET. I doubt either would charge unless they get too many poachers that are really visiting casinos and not the mall. I was there earlier in the week and a PHo employee hasn't heard about any future plans to charge for self-park and I didn't see any construction of gates, etc that would precede it. PHo does charge right now for valet parking. Valet is by far the quickest way into PHo because it's located right at the hotel, no walking through the mall required.

I'm going to guess probably closer to 20 to Bellagio, 25 to the poker room. The standard walking speed is 3.1 mph I believe, making it 10 minutes just to get through the mall. Add on time for going from the parking space, elevators/stairs just to get to the back of the mall. Once at PHo, it's a bit further to the sidewalk, waiting for the light at the Strip to change, then over the people mover.

I might be walking extremely fast, but it takes me only 15 minutes from MGM Signature to the Bellagio poker room and I think the Elara garage is closer? I might be wrong about that though.

Traversing that mall is not fun with packed with all the tourist starting and stopping and constantly changing direction.

That sounds like a standard walk thru most casinos. I personally like when they look one direction and walk the other.

More likely is your timing is not accurate. Everyone in this forum takes only 5 minutes to walk anywhere in Vegas.

It's taken me about 15 minutes, maybe a little longer, to walk from the Marriott's Grand Chateau to the Bellagio poker room, and I'm not built for speed. MGC is across Harmon from the Elara. About half that time is from Bellagio sidewalk to Poker room.

I've done that walk over 100 times in my life and have once stopped the time it took me. Maybe I walked extra fast that day because I was clocking it, but my regular walking speed is probably around 4 miles/hour. At least based on google maps telling me that a walk I do regularly is 1.9 miles and I usually get there in 25 minutes but take a couple shortcuts so the distance is prolly closer to 1.6-1.7 miles.

Ok ok, where am I parking to get to the Bellagio poker room in 10-15 minutes? That mall? Chateau Grand? Or, sigh, the B parking lot?

You could park at Bally's but they charge too.

People are always posting that it only takes three minutes to walk to the Strip from the Rio. Parking is free there.

Rio to Bellagio is 15-20 minutes to walk. I've done that several times, too.

But I understand that in a country where everything is drive thru, people don't like to walk more than absolutely necessary. Maybe that will change when they start to do a Cooper test to help determine your health insurance premiums.

google maps has it from corner of Valley view and Flamingo to LV BLVD and Flamingo 1.0 miles and 19 min. walk.

I walk at about a 16 minute/mile pace and that is fairly quick. So 15 min. at best for that walk unless you are running.

Should be fun in 115 degree heat with the sun high in the sky. Lol, what some people will do to save 10 bucks.
