On break and still 5 left. Oscar chipped up towards the end of that level and now sits on $1.475M, good for third place.
The bad news is that yours truly now has to head back to the airport to board a plane .Guitarist will keep me up to date and I may be able to beat PokerNews to the reporting for a big yet. That is until I actually get in the plane.
If anyone is wondering what Las Vegas will be like the F1, today’s closure of the strip may be a good i indicator. And let me tell you, it is ****ing carnage out there. Traffic is at absolute gridlock and no taxis anywhere. I have just walked in 100° heat to Virgin Hotel to get a taxi - I’m sweating like a paedophile in a playground and about to get on a 11 hour flight. Definitely pitying the person in the adjacent seat.
On the PokerNews and WSOP sites, the last few headlines have been……
7.06pm “Johansson takes the lead”
7.13pm “Johansson extends lead by taking more from Glaser”
7.22pm “Johansson on fire”
7.30pm “Johansson Approaching Four Million”
It’s fair to say that it’s been a pretty good level for our boy Oscar!

Vegas traffic is barely tolerable during normal times. They definitely need to beef up that infrastructure, which is crazy considering there is ALWAYS road construction. I ran into a similar situation during the NBA all-star game several years ago. Stuck at Venetian for 2 hours with a flight to catch, no cabs.
