Question for you: What do you like about the Wynn Poker Room? I only ask because I'm not particularly a big fan of the Poker Room there or the hotel in general.

I think the poker room has a lot of positives. These are, IMO, lots of space between the tables, lots of mobile drinks and food tables, quality dealers, good food and drinks options, high quality tables and chairs, and a good view of Tv screens for sport from almost any chair.

The negatives are I think Wynn’s chips are rubbish and there can often be a queue at the cage to cash in chips as they only have a couple of windows.

Overall though, I do feel as if it is the highest quality of all the rooms I have played in.

What is it that you dislike about the room?

Dunc, thanks for sharing and finishing up despite the rough week. Many would have dropped the TR when things turned poorly. So thanks.

The whole red theme was the old Wynn poker room. The room moved to the Encore a few years back and their poker room is predominantly blue now. The rest of the casino is still “lucky” red but the poker room a calm and soothing blue and cream. Definitely worth giving it another shot next time younare in town.

After what seems like a lifetime of travel, I have finally made it back to sunny Australia. I’m now in a taxi on the last leg of the journey home.

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone. As Watbri says, we like doing the trip reports - it helps hold us accountable and also helps keep friends and family that are interested up to date without flooding their FB timelines. Or flooding the social media feeds of those that really don’t give a ****!

Also, please keep sharing your first-world problems. We understand and have been there. We are reading a forum on poker and living vicariously through people visiting Las Vegas -- I'm pretty sure "first-world" are the only types of problems 95% of us have.
