I have a very aggressive, tracksuit-wearing mad Russian to my immediate left in this event. He potted, was re-potted and then potted again pre-flop for a third of his stack in level 1, and then check folded an ace high flop. In the first level of NLHE, he 3 betted 3 times over a 3x open to 16 bigs. He is clearly living by the life motto of “go big or go home”.

I won a big pot with AAxx in PLO and then lost a massive pot with AAxx in PLO. Recovered a little bit but still going to the break with less than starting stack.

In the Big Fitty, they had two different kinds of 25,000 chips and two different kinds of 5,000 chips. I heard somewhere there were actually three different kinds of 5,000 chips.

I second this. I consider myself a tournament player primary and for me, this is the sweet spot dollar wise. I can't warrant doing a whole heap of $1k's and doing multiple bullets but I'm happier with firing a couple if I have to in a $600.

It's not best case but at least it's not as bad as what Crown Casino did with their new big field tournament this year.
They completely underestimated the popularity and ended up having to use two complete chip sets. I had a stack of yellow 5k's and a stack of blue 5k's.
So many mistakes were made.

Yesterday evening, I couldn’t keep me eyes open. Eventually, I gave up trying and went to bed at 8pm. An early night means an early morning and I’ve now jumped in to a $2/$5 game at the Bellagio which should keep me entertained until the buffet opens.

4 handed so ranges are quite wide. I open A7 for $15 and the button calls. Flop is QQQ and he calls my $20 cbet. Turn 5 and I check call his $35 bet. River 9 and after I check, he bets $85. Snap call and his mate berates him for punting off his stack!

Just checked out of Cosmo and moved across the street to Planet Hollywood for my one night left in Vegas not a bad room I've never stayed here before
