Had a good dinner at Craftsteak but it was for sure different than past visits (don't serve fries anymore either )

Played some at MGM before dinner, up like $70

Headed over to play Caesars and was able to get right in game since Diamond card bumps you up
Ok game and ended I think +$258

On way back to room , hit some pai gow and lost $50

Had lunch at GrandLux at Palazzo side ...Chicken Royale extra sauce

Then played poker at Venetian, sweating a friend who played the O/8 tourney *he cashed

Today is work meeting all day then see what's up after

Met buddy to play pai gow and drink...was uneventful, so switched to dice...bought $300, cashed out $1440

Dead at the airport and many places closed , maybe because its a Wed or maybe no staff

Took 30 minutes to get cab at Flamingo to head to airport...I actually asked person in front of me to share when 1 showed up since both going to airport , so that worked out

So, I got back in to town last night and I’m here for only a week this trip. My old friend Nigel from Australia is here too and I’ve already reduced the cost of his trip by stacking off to him.

Also had a fairly new player at our table asking for some poker advice and how to calculate the percentages. Got into a hand with him too when I flopped a set of 7s on a K74 rainbow flop. Got it all in on the J turn and was looking good for a nice pot when the board paired the 4 on the river. That was until he turned over his pocket 4s. I congratulated him on his winning hand of quads and his one outer. “When you’re calculating odds, that was your 2% chance” I explained. NH, WP and welcome to Vegas

And out of the 2-7 in 28th (paying 13). Went on break with an above average stack and was out three hands after coming back. Ran into a wheel two hands running.

It’s getting a bit rough with the session ending bad beats. AIPF for 260 BBS and my AK loses to AQ. If I get some rungood to balance this run bad, I’ll be heading home in a week a wealthy man.

Man a man I wish I was there with ya , sadly no wsop trip for me this year.
