Update on me - taking my music career more seriously. In the talks of getting booked for a paid gig at a casino called Graton about an hour north of Oakland. So that's kinda exciting. Also been in and out of a recording studio. I don't have too many crazy degen stories. I'm sure one will come soon enough.

still haven't been to graton, that would be more of a reason for me to check it out, shoot me a text if that happens

Yea I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt for a little bit but then it became blatantly apparent that he was lying, so I stopped defending him.

This is 100% spot on. Also 99.99999% certain he scammed not only myself, but LT777 and Amused on a weight loss bet. We all agreed on FB to start a group and first one to lose 30lbs would win a bet, winner take all, we all chipped in $50. I think there were maybe 10 people in the group (IIRC), also some of my personal friends.

Harbor proceeds to "lose" 12lbs the first week, and then smashes his 30lb goal within a month. Harbor comes back to Vegas, and everyone who owed him for the bet, including me, paid up.

However, he definitely didn't look like he dropped 30 lbs, but I figured whatever, poker players are honest, he wouldn't lie right? (this was before he was outed as having multiple 2+2 personalities)

Then after he got outed was when we had the squat bet. He has since blocked me and ignored my texts. Oh well. I'm out $150 to him, whatever. I do hope to run into him in Vegas again somehow. I'd love to have a little chat with him.

Haha I forgot we got scammed on the fitness group. I guess because I didn't get scammed out of actual money out of pocket because him and I pushed our bet so no money exchanged. But Katana knows for sure I hit my goal and we pretty much all know he didnt hit his. So ya. Scammed

And 12 pounds a week is only ever possible with guys cutting extreme amounts of water weight or complete fitness and diet noobs who do nothing and eat horribly day in and day out. They can usually see some big drops the first week (does not continue obv) if they eat great foods, hit a substantial calorie deficit, work out a lot, and drink a lot of water. It is far from 12 lbs of fat, but it can happen.

eckenz, my apologies if I missed it in this thread, but have you posted any of your music here? If not, can you? Would love to check it out!

You can set yourself up to cut even more if you're planning a bet. You can easily add 5+ pounds to your "true" weight by overhydrating, eating salty foods, filling your bladder, stomach and bowel, etc. before your hop on the scale.

I thought fighters were just cutting water weight, which is why they hydrate furiously after weigh ins.
