incoming from Germany during WSOP time and wondering if there are still some Blackjack tables with 3:2 payout instead of 6:5. Any of you guys know if there are some tables left? Staying at MGM and MC.

yes there are but there is a ton of 6:5 garbage
some casinos are super shady and hide the 6:5 in tiny font on a small sign

mgm actually has some good games depending on what you're betting

If you are playing higher limits it is easy to find 3:2 at any casino. If you are looking for a $25 or lower limit table, you might have to hunt around a bit at a lot of properties.

In February I randomly walked through TI for some blackjack on my way back from getting sushi and was surprised to find 3:2 blackjack so prevalent (even as low as $10 min bet tables) given all the other 6:5 that I saw at Aria on tables $50 min bet.

So check out TI if you're in the neighborhood.

Cromwell has 3:2 at low stakes.

Most 3:2 also has continuous shufflers. You might have to venture off-Strip to find rules that are less than terrible, like Gold Coast or maybe Palms.

On Strip, TI and Cromwell are your best bets to see 3:2 all over.

Cromwell 3:2 is double deck. But there are other restrictions, possibly including you can't double down after a split. I don't recall exactly.

Binions was 6:5 but had soft 17 stand with single deck running in the AM yesterday. Not sure what the shoe games were since I wasn't looking to play them.

Wasn't out of the way for me since I was staying downtown. And, admittedly, as few blackjacks as I hit, I think I was happier to have a single-deck game than 3:2.

if you want to play single deck you're already downtown- go to the el cortez. they have real single deck 3:2.

Educate me then (seriously)...why is it not single-deck blackjack (given that the dealer has ONE deck). I get that you don't like 6:5, but why is a single deck NOT single deck blackjack?

I don't typically do much with pit games but know enough that I hate the shoes, no matter whether static or constant shuffle. When I do play, I am not usually playing nose bleed levels and would typically be $100 a hand or less.

el cortez. They also have a cooler full of beer in the pit and the pit bosses just give you a new one as soon as you finish.

bc 6:5 isn't blackjack in any way shape or form. it's some falsely advertised game.

there are tons of good double deck games so i don't see why you'd want to play a game with a 4-8 times house edge even if you don't like shoes (i also prefer not playing shoes.)binion's doesn't deserve your action.

next time you're in downtown vegas take a walk to the el cortez . they have 4-5 3:2 single deck games. the house edge on that game is 1/9th the size of the edge in the binions game.

if you're average bet is even just 50 dollars and you get 100 hands an hour (which is easy if the table isn't full) you're going to lose $78.50 an hour at binons vs 9 dollars an hour at el cortez on average.**** binions.

Correct. No double down after splitting at Cromwell in the double deck.

Are you asking what it stands for? It's Treasure Island. It's the only casino on the Strip that pays 3-2 on all double deck and six-deck tables. There's also $3 stadium blackjack that pays 3-2.

if 2 guys were both counting and at the same table they're begging to get kicked out.

Do they care abount counting if I dont spread my bets? I like to do it sometimes to just adjust basic strategy accordingly
