My brother in law is turning 21 so about this time last year, we made the plan the to go to Vegas and ruin his life.

To set the scene and players:

A: Myself, 32, played poker for 12+ years. Break even player with a few big tourney scores here and there and a bad itch to gamble as much as humanly possible.

B: My wife. Awesome, doesn't play a ton of poker but knows enough to get around. Will probably drink and play limit mostly.

DH: My BIL. About to be 21, pretty sheltered kid for the most part. High school baseball star, in college now for his Masters at VCU, has played poker with us for change a few times but nothing serious. Never gambled or got too crazy, hes ready to get a little wild.

D: My best friend and poker buddy for 20 years. Together we are a whirlwind of drunk and gambooooooooool! Claim to fame is blowing all our cash drunk in AC at blackjack in a few hours, taking our last money and both getting into $65 tourney at Harrahs while drinking as much as possible. 3 hours later, 2 threats to be thrown of out of the casino for being too rowdy, and we took 1st and 2nd place for a pretty good win.

T: Best friend's sister, known for 20 years also. Good poker player, not much of a gambler or drinker but fun to hang out with all the same.

Staying at the Linq, gonna do old vegas, lots of Cirque shows, pinball hall of fame, more food than we can ever eat, and some strip joints for the kid, a swanky one and a dump to give him a balance!

I'm going to play poker when I can, playing the Venetian DS one of the multi entry days as well.

I will do my best to keep this TR semi live with as many pics as possible!

How can he be getting his Master's if he's 20 and in college? Does he have a bachelor's degree already? Is he in grad school? Is he finishing college before getting his Master's? Some schools have a program (and VCU might be one) where you get both degrees at the same time after ~5 years. Just curious.

Working on his masters currently, took college credit classes through most of high school, started VCU with a credit equivalent of an Associates degree and got his bachelors last year I believe.

Leave in 2 days, cant wait!

I've had to give a similar speech over food pics. Looking for more and agree, A+ on the moccasins. Oh yeah, you'll have to have the BIL partake in some greyhounds. Pics expected of course.
