I've never had "all you can eat" sushi, how much does that cost generally? What's the best cheap place that offers that near the Rio?

all you can eat places are usually ~30.

i don't think theres any decent all you can eat sushi near the rio...chinatown is near by so there will be some sushi down there but most of those places are more traditional and not all you can eat.

seems like the all you can eat places are out in the suburbs

also you should learn to use chopsticks it's not that hard!

There is no way you can get better value for your money than Krazy Sushi around the 95/Durango area. You can order a la carte or all you can eat. The all you can eat is 21 for lunch and 28 for dinner, and literally everything is delicious. I've never ordered anything that wasn't awesome. I've eaten at naked fish, osaka, and plenty of other places, and Krazy beats them all.

I've never eaten at Nobu though...not too interested in blowing hundreds on dinner

Las time I was at Sushi-Mon, there were fliers advertising Goyemon as their "sister" restaurant. Don't know what that means, but sushi-mon is the bomb, so I'd be willing to give Goyemon a shot.

Went to Goyemon last night. Exact same menu as Sushi Mon except for they also have this place mat menu separate which had a couple extra side items on. Was delicious and they accept/give out the same punch card as Sushi Mon (Maryland/Silverado Ranch only) which is fantastic also. Being as it's closer to my place than Sushi Mon, I may never go back to Sushi Mon and have this be my AYCE place. Truly fantastic. Yourmomisagfe you should try this and see if you still think Krazy Sushi is worth a crap.

Any of you seasoned professionals every try Ichiban at Bally's in their little shopping strip center downstairs.

My GF and I have eaten there 3 times, but we always get the cold sake sampler, and.... I really don't remember much after that.

Good thing we were staying at Bally's.

I don't think Musashis has been mentioned here... I think their sushi pales in comparison to the rest of their menu, but there a few rolls that I'm in love with.

Sushi Kaya is in Chinatown. Think it's the best AYCE joint, but haven't been to Goyemon

Xtreme Sushi, 8955 S. Eastern immediately N of freeway, all you can eat, almost anything you want from the menu, $27.95. Awesome place. We must have eaten $200 worth of sushi (at regular sushi prices). Open until 1A everyday, lunch deal ends at 3:30P.

I don't think Blue Ribbon gets enough love. If money is no object there really isn't a better place to go. The service there is incredible, I might be biased because they know me and take great care of me...But on my 2nd trip in the GM introduced himself to me and said I never need to make a reso and they would always accommodate me. I've tested that theory a couple times and always gotten a good table.

Service aside I haven't had a bad meal there and the food quality is excellent.

If money is no object, it's better than Bar Masa?

I read a lot about these AYCE sushi places Obviously lots of sushi restaurants are overpriced but with raw fish I am hesitant to go somewhere that can make a profit off 20-30$. Are my worries unfounded?

depends on what yr worried about. AYCE places serve lower quality fish than more expensive joints. but you probably won't get sick.
