Hey guys/gals, been lurking for a while but am helping plan a bachelor party and figured this is as good time as any to register and ask for some help. I have only been to Vegas twice and the last time was 8 years ago. I vaguely remember those trips for obvious reasons.

If there is a thread that I have missed that details suites in Vegas, please point me in that direction.

Looking for a home base for upwards of 20 people for a party in Vegas. I'd like to have a room(s) where 10 or so can stay and everyone can congregate if need be.

My initial search hasn't come back with much, other than a 4 bedroom suite at Elara - it looks nice but I can't tell how convenient that is in regards to getting to the strip easily (and being able to make it back fully in the bag).

Any help, or even pointing me in the right direction for old threads here, would be extremely helpful. We are coming out 2/7-2/10. Thanks!

You’re so much better off renting a house on Airbnb than getting a suite. Even with two to a bed, you’re not going to sleep double digits in any suite (unless everyone brings a sleeping bag and crashes on the floor)

If you want a suite on the strip for a party, the coolest one I’ve been in was a Bungalow at the Cosmo. That tho isn’t as much fun if it’s cold out. I was there last year during the same week, it was cold

It certainly doesn't have to sleep that many, I was just hoping they had penthouse suites that did - but they seem to be all booked or just not open for booking to chumps like me.

I would just like a room or rooms big enough for 10-15 to hang out in for 45 min or as we figure out what we are doing...if that makes sense. A place to drink and shoot the ****.

There are a lot of first timers on the trip and I think they want the "Strip" experience.

Bungalow at Cosmopolitan would be perfect for what you describe, three levels with lots of space and only one bedroom. But 99% of bachelor parties would be better suited spending the $5k/night a bungalow costs on something else.

Nobu has penthouses for up to 10 or 12 guests, but I think they start at >$6k/night. 3BR Skylofts at MGM are even more expensive. Aria also has an option for 8 guests, no idea how much that one is but I highly doubt it’s significantly cheaper than the other options.

In general, rooms get exponentially more expensive with size. So even if you find a suite that has 3 bedrooms and two pullout sofas to sleep ten people, it’s likely going to be significantly more expensive than 5 regular rooms where everyone has their own bed.

Elara is easy walk, it's right off the Strip on Harmon and is connected to Planet Hollywood's retail shops. If the price is right, grab it.

OTOH, you are talking about post-SuperBowl so there should be plenty of really nice houses for rent. I would think that bachelor party hi-jinks and a ton of guests might be more smoothly done in a private house than a hotel casino ..... You also can always book a nice place in a hotel casino to chill in, etc.

This seems to be a good route. There are some pretty amazing places on the strip on Airbnb. We found one that sleeps 16 for $4k that overlooks bellagio fountains. It says it has access to cosmo. Not knowing that area, I’m not sure what that means. But if 10 of us go, that’s only $400/person. I’ll take that for the ability to have everyone together.

depends on your group and how you feel about downtown-good for a bachelor party in a lot of ways,

one option is the Golden Nugget they have a several 1 bedroom suites- I have rented the adjoining room and make it a 2 bedroom suite sleeping 10 if everyone doesn't need their own bed-they have a decent suite for something like $700 a night(adjoining would be another 150 per probably) for the days listed in OP that would be good for hosting bachelor party functions and is significantly less than 5k

or you could rent the top floor of the Golden Gate-I have no personal experience with that suite, its a 2 bedroom and its available for 870 per for the same period (good gamble in Derek's casinos and great atmosphere for a bachelor party) plus if anyone else in the group that wanted their own room can get one cheap

just a couple of different options

For just a place to gather, a suite with a parlor and adjoining ordinary room. I stayed at one in Caesars many years ago in an older tower. The older rooms are much bigger than the newer ones. The parlor had tons of space. The main couch was at least 12 feet long.

The downside is that the whole group pretty much has to stay at Caesars too, which isn't the cheapest place on the Strip.

https://www.mirage.com/en/hotel/two-...wer-suite.html

These might work for what you describe - a couple bedrooms with a largish common area. I've stayed in the tower suite and 10-12 in the main room wouldn't be overcrowded. Price for these might be more reasonable than some other higher end options and Mirage is a pretty good location. Seems the Hospitality suite has no windows in the common area? Tower suite has floor to ceiling the length of the room.

Are you guys high rollers or not? Last trip I had a 1 bedroom suite at the Flamingo. It wasn't the nicest in the world (not that it was bad), but it was big and fit 13 people no problem playing poker and drinking and other stuff. We're all CET people so we had free rooms either there or Caesars and it worked out awesome.

Nobu penthouse. Has 4 connecting 1 bedrooms. Was fortunate enough to stay there when friends threw their surprise wedding receiption there, all catering done by Nobu restaurant.

What’s that run? $7000 a night is what I thought I’d heard for that

It’s on Airbnb. It says it’s located between the bellagio and the cosmo.

Most are not. The $7k/night is definitely not happening. I’ve found some that sleep 8 or so for a little over $4k for the 3 nights. One was at the cosmo.

Seems like a pretty good deal for what we want. That mirage link that was posted also seems decent.

I didn’t inquire on the price per night. But to throw a huge wedding celebration there with a dj/catered Nobu + sushi station/ magician/ bartender/ additional rooms etc was under 40k for 3 nights (1 night for the party itself). A few of the one bedrooms were for 2 nights.

If they won't name the building, pass. It could be great or it could be a total scam....

I mentioned the Jockey Club because that is between those two but I'd be amazed if it has a suite like you described.

I would think that @ the Cosmo has to be better than next to the Cosmo....

Have you tried Trump ?

The suites are Elara are pretty nice. We have a timeshare there and got one for my stepson's 21st birthday party. Love the location -- we play at Aria so it's a good spot to be.

You could probably fit 15ish people comfortably in a wraparound suite at Cosmo, and it will be under $1k/night. Just have everyone other than the groom book regular rooms and meet there for pregame/postgame/etc.

It IS the jockey club. It says it in a random spot on “other notes”. All it says is “ the main entrance to the jockey club is in the alley way between the bellagio and the cosmo”.

So, with that known, steer clear of that or is that a nice spot?

I’ve never been to jockey club but the location is good. How bad can it be?

15 people can hang out in a wraparound but it sleeps 3

What are the negatives? Truly wondering as I have no clue. It’s gotten good reviews on Airbnb.
