around a decade or so ago when this place was hopping and most people came to this site because they played poker, i created a moderator playground forum.

it was a place where new forum ideas could be tried out as an experiment or simply a place where individual moderators could take some time and have a space of their own for a little while. i thought of it as a reward of sorts for people who had volunteered their time to make this website a cool place.

6 years or so ago this forum was open. it was a food and drink forum. it closed six or so years ago and has not been open until a few days ago. it was closed again after a few days after not going so well. now it's back.

it is now jman's and friends place for a bit place for a bit. he (or she?) will explain further. the future, not the past.
